  1. I think you may be right. You gotta be clever to fool an ECU, not a 50p resistor.
  2. If you hold on before buying a filter you can have my K&N, only 4000miles old. Just wait until Toyota GT start working on my car first. Oh + postage. Thanks thats a very kind offer but i couldnt possibley except thank you anyway thats very kind OK you can buy it!! It will be in the forsale section when I don't need it anymore!!!1
  3. Well my spend is over 5K in 6 months Can't take it with you. Welcome to the forum.
  4. GT4 dash I wonder if they work from the ecu, on A=B=C where C is supposed boost rather than an actual boost measurement, all SAABS boost gauges have nothing to do with what the turbo is actually doing, just clever maths from the ECU.
  5. Could another option be using the Celica GT4 turbo gauge (on the Celica dash board), then using that to replace the MPG gauge on the IS200 dash?????? Or am I being silly!!!

  7. If you hold on before buying a filter you can have my K&N, only 4000miles old. Just wait until Toyota GT start working on my car first. Oh + postage.
  8. Black Diamond. Worked very well on my Scooby & SAAB and when the conversion is done they will be going onto the Lex.
  9. Got mine allong with stickers and new tax holder!! Thanks to the management.
  10. The problem with the EVO is the ride, sooooo hard you won't want to take it on long trips, where as the M3 the only down side is its "another" BMW. If you don't care what others think the BMW is the one to go for.
  11. Thanks guys, loads of choices. I've just been on Demon Tweeks site, dials do cost a bit don't they!! I may well just go for a pillar mount it will be simpler especially looking at the depth of these units.
  12. should be quite easy if you are good with fiberglass! Ah there we have the 1st problem........
  13. OK I don't think modding the OEM screen just for the sake of a rear view camera is worth the £'s, not when head units with all the extra things like DVD, can be installed with less trouble. Is there a way that extra gauges (things like the Turbo boost, oil pressure, water temp etc) could be mounted in to the screen holder, i.e. remove the screen and build in a set of gauges. Leaving the interior of the car looking fairly standard and pop open the screen when I want to see the gauges? Would this just be a nightmare to do, as I know the UK very well having Sat Nav isn't that important. Hope this makes sense. Oh and does anyone recomend any gauges to use.
  14. I went to the Luton one first only to find oput it was closed a year ago, but still on their website Then up the M1 to Northampton only waited 10 mins to be served, quick for a government agency.
  15. PH51 LZH Phil is my name, Z beause it is Philz car and H because thats the wifes 1st initial. It does need spacing in a "better" (PH51L ZH) way but I'm happy. Only thing is it does make the car look older than it is, but I don't mind that much. Same day transfer at Northampton DVLA, good service and got all the points on my license removed at the same time.
  16. I came to Lexus from my trusty Saab 95 Aero HOT. Don't miss the SAAB at all...... Well apart from the power, but that is currently being addressed :D
  17. had one stop at green lights..... It was on a roundabout so they were "trying" to follow the give way rules BUT NOT WHEN THERE ARE TRAFFIC LIGHS.
  18. Can I have an Aston V8 please :P
