  2. hi you should have changed it long before now,it's 6 years or 60,000mls whichever comes first. I had my 1st cam belt change(including idler, tensioner water pump etc) in 2010 at 55,000 miles and my 2nd change in 2016 with 79,000 miles on the clock(my car is a 2003)
  3. To start with the stereo and sat nav are by and large two separate bits of equipment.Your sat nav not working has nothing to do with the error 3 code you get on your stereo. There could be various reasons why your sat nav doesn't work for example it could a faulty reader(module)-this is located in the boot and is your sat navs source of information, could also be that the reader has no disc.To be honest it's difficult to say what your actual problem would be.
  4. hi the digital clock shouldn't be permanently on,it should only come on when you turn the ignition on,possible wrong wiring somewhere
  5. why would you have any warning ⚠ lights though?,hopefully won't cost you an arm and a leg, good luck and all the best
  6. probably best if you have it done by a garage or air con specialist
  7. lol yes short runs down to the shops won't help your mpg
  8. you should be getting anything between 22 and 28 mpg to be honest,on the other hand they were never designed with fuel ⛽ economy at the forefront.
  9. hi sorry but if am not wrong you can't remap it,by the way when was it last serviced?are you heavy footed with the accelerator?
  10. hi,your rear brake light and parking light bulb is a double filament bulb,if your brake lights work and parking lights don't it means that the filament that works your parking light is broken. All you have to do is buy yourself a new pair of bulbs - t20 double filament bulbs, hope this helps
  11. Does make you laugh and wonder sometimes, everyone to their own, definitely not for me
  12. hi check the inside of drivers door there should be a label with it on(usually a three or four digit code eg 8n8),also under the bonnet, and in the service history book if you have one
  13. welcome back Glynn, hope you have years of relatively trouble free motoring
  14. if you have got a IS200 its beneath the steering column, slightly to the left of the bonnet lever.
  15. hi keep your eyes open on the bay as they do pop up from time to time(lol not particularly cheap)or buy one brand new.On the other hand keep your fingers crossed that a member reading your post might have one for sale
  16. hi I wouldn't say it's a common problem, haven't got any on mine yet,but do remember these cars are now anything between 10 and 18 years old so will eventually begin to show rust
  17. Why not take it out and see,the ones in the IS200 are full and not space saver ones
  18. Chances are that they would have had Bridgestone's on when new
  19. Spray the rotating arm with a bit of wd40 or silicone spray and this should stop it from freezing
