  1. hi the digital clock shouldn't be permanently on,it should only come on when you turn the ignition on,possible wrong wiring somewhere
  2. why would you have any warning ⚠ lights though?,hopefully won't cost you an arm and a leg, good luck and all the best
  3. probably best if you have it done by a garage or air con specialist
  4. lol yes short runs down to the shops won't help your mpg
  5. you should be getting anything between 22 and 28 mpg to be honest,on the other hand they were never designed with fuel ⛽ economy at the forefront.

  7. hi,your rear brake light and parking light bulb is a double filament bulb,if your brake lights work and parking lights don't it means that the filament that works your parking light is broken. All you have to do is buy yourself a new pair of bulbs - t20 double filament bulbs, hope this helps
  8. Does make you laugh and wonder sometimes, everyone to their own, definitely not for me
  9. hi check the inside of drivers door there should be a label with it on(usually a three or four digit code eg 8n8),also under the bonnet, and in the service history book if you have one
  10. welcome back Glynn, hope you have years of relatively trouble free motoring
  11. if you have got a IS200 its beneath the steering column, slightly to the left of the bonnet lever.
  12. hi keep your eyes open on the bay as they do pop up from time to time(lol not particularly cheap)or buy one brand new.On the other hand keep your fingers crossed that a member reading your post might have one for sale
  13. hi I wouldn't say it's a common problem, haven't got any on mine yet,but do remember these cars are now anything between 10 and 18 years old so will eventually begin to show rust
  14. Why not take it out and see,the ones in the IS200 are full and not space saver ones
  15. Chances are that they would have had Bridgestone's on when new
  16. Spray the rotating arm with a bit of wd40 or silicone spray and this should stop it from freezing
  17. Sorry to disappoint you but as far as am aware it will fail the emissions test
