After much thinking about this and looking around at a few over cars around my way iv decided to keep the is200. Think iam going to mod her a little bit with a new stainless exhausts, lower her, tint the rear windows, a spoiler a induction kit or just KN planel flitter and some new alloys maybe. So i think iam here to stay boys and girls.

Love the lights, think i might have to do a bit of research into them. let us know what law says if they pull you over for them.

Mate i had problems finding an IS200 sport myself when i was looking to buy 1. I found 1 but the trader didnt want to touch my MR2 MK1 which was mint he offerd me £250, so i walked. Anyway i sold my mr2 privately and got £1800 for it, plus the 3k that i had. But still had problems finding a sport i wanted, they eirther had more miles than i wanted or they had no history. After a bit more reseach i found out that there is very little difference between the sport and se. So i ened up with SE with 100k ish on the clock with full lexus service history had to travel 150miles and it was only 2.2k bargin. Anyway the point iam trying to make is certenly sell privately to get the best price for your car and look at ever option of the IS200 you might find a bargin i like i did. But if the sport is what heart is set on there are a couple around norwich that i know are for sale, there all about 4-6k.

It would be what ever i would get for my is200, so between 3k-3.5k plus a little extra if realy needed.

hi guys, iam thinking of changing cars again. I got my is200 8 months ago as my mint MR2 MK1 wasnt practical after me and my other half moved in togehter but i loved that car. I love the is200 but there is only one thing i dont like about it is the lack of power the fun factor as i like to call it, iv been toying with the idea making it a super charger or turbo project but i need the time and money to do that, when i could go get a scooby or evo or celica gt 4 but needs to be a four door realy. But if i was to go for something like that i would loss the comfort of the lexus, i would realy like a S4 or something like that but cant realy aford that. I just dont know what to do, what you guys think?

Mine went in on tue and needed a new rear shock, what cost £100 and my time to fit it. What CD did you have in the car?

Iam wanting to do add a turbo or a super chager to mine as well for my is200. From what i understand the super charger is the easier mod to fit but as already been said they are rare and there's alot of people wanting 1. So id have a look at adding a turbo, iv started researching into it and looking at the costs what can get pretty high. So iam in 2 minds if to do it or get a car with the extra fun factor what iam after, but if i was to that i would loss the comfort of the lexus etc. But iam lacking the funds at the mo as the other half had her hour reduced so until they go back to the norm or she finds a new job its been been put to the back shelf for now.

Yeah that can happen!!!! But iam getting married when i get back. My misses said i could go as she knows its one of the things that iv always wanted to do. if i was to tie the knot now with the kids what she already has planed etc i would never be able to do it. So she letting me go before we get married, what has she done!!!!!!!!?????????

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone on here has been back packing or travelling before? As iam looking at doing some once iv finished my HND next summer, so iam planing on going early 2011 so gives me a year and half to save and plan. I would love to go for about 6 months to a year but i doubt the over half would agree to that so just going to go for a 1-2 months. Just need to decided where, iam looking at going to new zealand or south east asia, has anyone been to eirther and what did they think. Any kind of feedback on this would great, cheers.

Hi guys i know this is an old thread and all but just wanted to add mine. Iam an electronics/electrical engineer. working in calibration, service and repair of measurement instruments. (ie insulation testers, loop tester etc, for those who know what they are.)

Depends on how long the drive is for me! If iam just poping around town always the windows and the sunroof. But if iam doing a long drive on motorways etc has to be the AC

Dude how much????? Iam 25 and pay £380 for my is200 with adrain flux 4 years NCB, been with them for years. Had my MR2 mk1 with them from the age of 23, first year that was £800 then went down to £450 and was £380 the last time i renewed then when i changed to the is200 didnt change at all, bonus. Give them ago, they'll beat any quote from another company.

Fitted mine today and looks alot better than the standard sliver one. Just got to tint the windows next James.s sorry to hear that yours didnt turn up, as long as you used paypal you should be fine mate.

Dont worry guys iv just answered my own question. I found it in another section of the forum and now that i think about it a bit more it is when its cold or the 1st couple of miles that it plays up. Just glad to find out that its just a common characteristic of the car.

hello everyone. Does anyone else have problems finding 1st or 2nd, when droping down gears? Over the last few days i have started to notices it alot when iv been slowing down coming up to a junction or at a round about, engine braking, that i havent been able to find 1st or 2nd. I spoke to a one of my friends he had a is200 sport a fews ago and said that he had the same trouble. Is this just a common Characteristic of the manual gear box or a can it be something wronge?

Dude both the angle eyes and the brows look cool to me. But id go with the brows if the choose was down to me. I'v already got some kind of lip of ligth at the bottom of my headlight i'l take some pics tonight when its gets dark and post the pictures tomorow so you can have a look. Also what body kit is on that red one at the start of the very tasty might be intrested in one of those for mine!?!

Been ringing around for prices, surpiced to hear alot of the garages dont stock or even sell toyo's! The P7000 and eagles are just out of price range but they are a good tyre just a little to much for me. I did get some good prices on the toyo's from the garages that sell them anyway, £77.95 a corner was the cheapist so far! What isnt to bad.
