Visited Matthausen in Austria when I first came over. I was surprised at how much it affected me, eerie place - very quiet - no birds or animals.
That is one of the smaller ones. Still hard to believe this was done by a 'civilised' country only 60 years ago.
OK - hadn't fully understood the problem.
See what you mean about COUNTIF.
=FREQUENCY(B1:B10,A1)
is close except that it includes the case where values are equal - i.e. <=, not just <. You could use the this and reference A2 instead of A1 where A2 = A1-1.
Other option is to add another column that holds 1 if less than, 0 if equal or above and sum the column.
Good luck. Excel is wonderful most of the time and a pain in the a** for the rest.
You may have to lower your macro security level.
Change the setting (Tools / Options / Security / Macro Security / Low), save & close Excel then reopen & try again.
Set the level back to high after you've finished.
You'll have to add a macro.
Open Excel then :
Tools / Macro / Visual Basic Editor
Insert / Module
Click on the (new) Module1
Paste in the following :
Save and close the VB editor
You should now have a new user defined function called 'MissingLetters()'
Use it like any other function.
Hope this does what you want.
Have a look at this thread. I've got these on my IS and they look good. I bought the stock orange bulbs at the same time - you don't see any orange when they're not lit.
Part no I received was 81731-51021.
Check that they'll fit an LS400 but I'd be surprised if they don't.
Its nasty stuff - the bu**ers must have cast iron stomachs.
Carbonated water is good as you can give it a shake with your thumb across the top - DIY power jet.
Was it in gear?
Standard diff, turn 1 wheel with the driveshaft locked (in gear) & the other wheel should turn in the opposite direction. I would expect an LSD to behave the same when turning by hand.
Also be aware that the scammers often hang around the machine.
They do the install and then keep an eye on it. If you do find one, look about & see if anyone is taking a lot of interest.
I don't know how the seat element is installed in the LS but I fixed one in my Saab a few years ago. Element was pushed into a slit in the seat & was broken in the middle. I pulled up the cover, lifted the element out & rejoined it with a crimp connector - was still going when I sold it 2 years later.
Hardest part was getting the cover back on without creases (cloth not leather).
If you're prepared for a bit of DIY it may be worth having a look yourself. Use a multimeter to measure the element, should be a few ohms to a few 10's of ohms resistance - yours is most likely open as its not working (worth checking first in case it's something else).
I'm having some handling problems at present and I've noticed a few threads here & on other sites about the same.
I've had mine to the dealers 4 times now & had two full alignments done. They swear there's nothing worn or broken then say 'its typical for its age' (56k miles). After the last visit I was told that they wouldn't look at it again until I replaced the front tyres (about 2mm now - fair enough, especially as its getting into winter) and slagged off my michelin pilots (new when I bought the car). Problem is when I first took it in the fronts had 5mm and I only swapped them (front to back) just before the last visit (& told them).
Problem I have is that even at parking speeds it doesn't feel like it did 6 months ago - noticible feedback going over road humps, driveways etc. I'll change the tyres but I'm not convinced it will fix the problem.
If the tyre change doesn't work I'm guessing the next stop will be ball joints and bushes although I have specifically asked these be checked on the last two visits.
Any comments welcome.
