  1. We should have a "fix it meet" to sort these sort of things out. We used to have them on the Omega Owners forum and it was great. A bunch of like minded people getting together to help sort each others niggles with the cars out. We progressed this onto fitting cambelts and the like too. Anyone up for it? Mike
  2. I am assuming that the clicking is when you turn the key, it just clicks instead of starting. This would be because the battery hasn't got the guts to turn the engine over. Get the battery charged, and then take it into a local Motorist Discount Centre, or similar, they can do a load test on it to see if it's holding a charge. Also, when the car is running, put a multimetre on the battery terminals and you should see about 14.4v. Having said that, they can test this when they do the above. Let us know how you get on. Thanks Mike
  3. Wow, that looks loads better now. It does look good. I too am suprised at what a difference that makes. Mike

  10. I've just checked (just to make sure) and it's 5.6 including the filter or 5.3 without. Also, I can confirm that the book suggets that we use 5/30. Thanks Mike

  12. Steve, I have a MK IV with the VVTI and that's what I use. Same here too, genuine oil filter. Thanks Mike
  13. I've had a more involved look at fitting my parking sensors and have decided that I just haven't got the bottle to drill 4 holes in my bumper. There doesn't seem to be too much room or access behind the bumper. So I'm going to get the same thing as you Pete. 1 question though, where did you drill the 1 hole required? I though about going in behind the number plate? Can you let me know where you have put the control box / buzzer too. Thanks Mike
