  1. Welcome to the club n all, does seem like you have a strange one here. Is it doing exactly the same thing on both sides? IS200 front calipers are known for siezing, mine have a few times.
  2. As said before your spare is really just that. A spare. Unless you are lucky enough to need it on the correct side. If you need it on the wrong side just take it easy and get your dud tyre replaced asap. With regards to tyre weld I would virtually never use it unless it was absolutely the last resort.
  3. Welcome to the club. Im sure youll find the place helpful in that department.
  4. Ill second that. Absolutely gorgeous cars. Its a shame that we would have to spend to much extra to get abit more power.
  5. Yes yes I know this is a major thread revival but I just came across it and wondered if anything further ever came of this? Anyone know?
  6. http://www.ebay.co.u...d=p4340.l2562 This seller has a few kits. They do seem abit expensive but unless you know what leds you need then this is the next best thing. These listings are nothing to do with me by the way.
  7. Welcome to the club. As said already, you should find it to hard to find a new door.
  8. Welcome to the club! Where did you live before the uk? Just out of interest.
  9. thats a nice looking IS mate. You can just replace the bulbs in the back for leds but like said already check the dimmer switch is turned up fully. Also abit off topic but if you put the skirts and front lip on, which ones are they? Looks well smart.
  10. Holy thread revival! However I will add to this and say siezing brake calipers. had them go a few times on mine.
  11. Yeh he was quite the guru on here like stav.
  12. ahh that old one of it costing more than the cars worth. If youre not attatched to the car then go for it. Personally I think that Lexus have done an amazing job of keeping their cars "with the times" and the newer ones still look phenomenal, unlike so other cars the look ugly. I guess you just have to way up the pros and cons. Or if youre like me just decide you want to get one, do your research and buy buy buy.
  13. If youre happy with the one you have, whats stopping you sorting the things that you say need sorting?
  14. As in the title whats happened to Ormi? It says he was last active on the 30th of may. Have we been abandoned lol?
  15. Basically the IS300 has a 3 litre engine and auto gearbox and is heavier overall. Not by a vast amount though. Think its 1830kg and 1955kg. Personally I dont know if the suspension is any different, could well be.
  16. They should literally just clip off. There is a small notch in the arm where the clip secures in. Just find the clip and dont be afraid to give it some force. In your pics they look fairly rusted so might take more force. Also I reckon abit of WD40 etc wouldnt go amiss. Also the clip clicks in on the side that faces the windscreen
  17. If youre willing to put one together yourself you can use an eaton m62 supercharger used by mercedes and then buy the other bits seperately. The cone on the charger will need changing to a shorter one though if I remember correctly
  18. As others have said. You would be far better going for a full hid kit. If you get the kit from a decent place, you wont dazzle other road users. Its just cheap kits that do that.
  19. As Im a big fan of scoobies I came across this. A young boy is soon to lose his life and his dad is putting a car show together for him before he goes. Just take a look. http://bbs.scoobynet...lease-help.html unfortunately I cant go but would be great if a few cars from here could.

Hi welcome to the club. To attatch images you need to upload them to an image hosting website first (something like imageshack) and then copy and paste the address into the attach image option.
  21. Detailers can do an amazing job on cars. If your car has swirl marks they can easily blitz them out and you would have to spend a fair amount more than that to do as good a job. Dont get me wrong you can do a very good job with £50 but you aint gonna be able to polish properly and do paint correction. In my opinion the best thing to do is pay to get it fully detailed professionally and then make sure you keep on top of it,
  22. basically you cant. unless you dont mind boosting or engine swapping. either way its gonna be a hefty price.
  23. Wicked no problem mate. glad to help.
