    Theres a stretch near me that has a 40 limit, 50 limit and 70 limit. Its all dual carrigeway with no islands or junctions or anything. Most people do 50 in the 40, 60 in the 50 etc. Ridiculous

    An induction kit, air filter or exhaust might make your IS noticeabley faster, but it will only be fractionally. You will have to spend megabucks to turbo or supercharge. The reason you only find second hand ones is that TTE stopped making them. They do however use Eaton M62 compressors found on some mercs. and in answer to your question about chips, dont bother. They wont do anything.

    Could well be that the thermostat is siezed and not allowing the coolant to circulate into the rad, therefore not being cooled. If you have any mechanical know how id probably give that a go first.

    ^^^^ as above, take it back. Surely they gave you some sort of warranty if it was from a garage.

    Is it just me or is that a little on the obsessice side anyhow when I had my geometry done the chap said that it was pretty good already but I still noticed a massive difference in the handling.

    There arent any "cheap" ways of doing it unless youre able to do fabricating and everything else yourself. Even then it will cost more than you think. In another couple of threads today ive posted a link to a kit that a guy has for sale for £1800, thats if he still has it.

    Rotrex chargers aint cheap! and Yes you would need either a standalone ecu or a piggy back as the standard on cannot be mapped.

    Kinda my thinking really but when you come to sell it, you will get your money back on the charger anyway. So you could buy it, have some fun and then flog it and youve not lost anything
