Have to say I dont like the first set of wheels on the car but it does look rather nice with the standard repainted alloys on.
Did you tint the lights yourself and if so did it affect the light output?
Can someone help me with understanding all the different wheel sizes please. Like this for example, "Tyres 245/40R18 and on its 8Jx18H2 ET40
Obv 114.2 x 5 pcd" I get all the tyre sizes but just the wheels i dont.
Also what wheel nuts do IS200 have?
Thanks
The beam will be wrong for over here. Dont think they will pass mot. Theyre for america and europe.
If i remember right the fitment for is300 and is200 is different aswell
being lexus, there arent many. there are prolex, lextasy, japarts and a couple of others cant think though. Ive spent hours trawling the net and there are bits and bobs out there, just need to really look hard.
Theres recently been a big topic on this subject. have a read through. im sure it will help you http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=77175
does it work manually in the boot lock? someone may have lost the original keys, got a new set but not got the barrel changed in the door. Or it may be that the lock in the door is just knackered.
well i havent seen the hids that the IS came with but basically I have Xenon HIDs in the standard reflector type headlight housings and they are fine. Im not sure if its any different for projectors or not.
Led sidelights are absolutely fine mate. No projector needed for xenons I have them on mine. This shows you all the fitments of bulbs http://www.lexusowne...=1
Just check for deffo first though. I dont have the model that came with HIDs so not sure entirely. Also you done get halogen HIDs. Halogen is a bulb with a filament and a xenon hid (high intensity discharge) uses xenon gas instead of the filament.
I dont think that the IS300 exhaust will fit because the 300 has a different engine all together. Just make sure you do the research first. I dont have a 300 so cant help for sure.
