  1. The rail that runs the length of the underside, slots into the jack. There are two notches about 2" apart near the front and rear of the car. you putt the jack inbetween them. Would you like me to get a photo or is that good enough?
  2. Ive had this once or twice. but its always fired up straight away every other time. I have an is200 mind. Still doubt its anything to worry about. but thats just my opinion.
  3. haha good spot mate. seems the forum is expanding.
  4. If its as good as you say then go for it. theres only 2 ways it can turn out. Good or bad!
  5. I wouldnt ever put remoulds on. At the end of the day the tyres are the most important thing on your car. imagine if you had your family in the car and you had a blow out on remoulds that caused an accident. how would you forgive yourself? i couldnt. atleast is they are decent new tyres then you would know that it wasnt your fault.
  6. Is this a joke or are you really considering doing this?
  7. Well done mate, the car looks very nice indeed. The paintwork looks in very good condition for the milage and age. Let us know how it goes. Happy motoring
  8. As kind of said already, the tyre pressures are on the drivers side pillar and it does depend on the loading of the car (if youre really anal about it). Myy temp gauge sits bang on half way. Thats where it should sit permenantly after a resonably short amount of time, say about 5 mins or so. ill check in the mornin and report back.
  9. fleabay mate. theyre on there for around the £70 mark. Where in notts are you? been speaking to a few other blokes around notts a have been on about meeting up.
  10. Welcome to the club mate The milage sounds about average for an IS. Happy motoring.

Thats all good then! I know what you mean about the boy racers but I suppose you will get that anywhere. Steve, do you know anyone else from this club around our area?
  15. Wont it just be ok with a good coat of red oxide?
  16. yeh I was thinking that myself, didnt realise what it was like until i saw it in the pics. I guess you kinda overlook the underside of the car. Especially as the topside is so nearly immaculate. Thanks for the advice gents

Have either of you been to mfn car night or bike nights? or would you fancy meeting there some time?
  18. Many thanks for the replies everyone. Im soon to be installing puddle lights and im just trying to figure out mounting in certain places. So the general feeling is that they will not need to be used again? and that they were only used during production?. so that i can use them to help me install the puddle lights.
  19. How do the rubber grommets aid airflow? Are you on about the same thing as me? lol
  20. I only mentioned the wiring as its the kind of thing that you look over. Yes the main battery, mine dropped abit low on voltage one night and i pressed the lock button just to check before i went to bed, and then the alarm started going off at about 1am haha. I just put it on charge aand it was fine. What voltage does the meter read on the dash when the engine is off and on?
