    Ok so the other night I was thinking, which uses more fuel, taking it easy and slow but obviously your engine will be running for longer OR going faster so that your engine is running for a shorter period? What do you think?

    ye olde sticky caliper returns again lol. Just go for a recon one mate. Chances are you will just have the same problem again so no point in spending mega bucks

    Power wise there aint much you can do with the engine. Id love to do an engine swap to the 2jz but the money is the issue. So far Ive done powder coated wheels, window tints, HIDs, angel eyes, black sprayed headlights, white LED strip boot light, blue footwell lights and dome light, nearly done puddle lights, led number plate lights and have put red alloygators on to protect the rims, sprayed the (Lexus logo) red in the middle of my black wheels and painted the calipers red. Sure theres other stuff that Ive forgot. Im gonna do the fog to brake mod aswell soon.

    Welcome to the club mate, theyre very nice cars to drive but do lack abit of power. still good fun though!

    PIAA wiper blades are top quality. I have some myself and they are expensive but i can say they are awesome. They come with a screen wipe so you prep the widscreen before installing them then the water just runs off.

    Damn right it is! I remember sitting in the back of my mum and dads car when I was little, seeing one of these and thinking wow. I want one of them one day. Now I have one and still look at it everyday and think how nice it is.

    welcome to the club mate. They truly are nice cars to drive and yes it would be better if they did have more oomph but in my opinion they do just have enough. Happy motoring

    Complete W*****s! like you it disgusts me what people will do for something so simple as a spoiler. I want one but like most folk will just bide my time till i can afford one. I couldnt live with it on my concience if I did that. Good look with trying to get everything sorted mate. I feel for you.

    Imprezas are built like fortresses, absolutely solid and have a hell of a spec as standard. They like a good thrash every now and again. Depends what you want out of the car though I guess. Still, theres kinda a japanese theme going on eh! Im deffo a jap man myself. volvo and saab dont really do anything for me. HOWEVER I know this is abit off topic but I think the new mercs like the C63 AMG etc are absolutely gorgeous. Mean as hell.

    That should be fine mate. The altenator charges the battery at about 14v or so if i remember right.

    Seconded, go to lexus. My mrs golf has been losing water for ages, ive replaced parts here n there and nothing worked. finally today i took it for a pressure test and it was found to have a crack in the engine block and the head gasket had gone. There was no signs of water in oil or oil in the water. and no gunk around the oil filler cap. I know its not a IS200 but obviously if i couldnt see any evidence of head gasket failure or the crack then the same could apply. Probably worth gettin a pressure test done.

    I got one from lexus just with the "L" logo on it. Kinda the same as what your on about i think (cant see images). Its a magnetic one. cant remember how much it was though.

    I like the idea of this but it would have to be hard wearing. How would you stop it chipping? it looks good but you would be gutted to get it all sprayed up, back on the car and then chip it lol. I would do it though if the paint is tough enough. Also is it painted or vinyl wrapped?
