  1. Nice to hear it's a quick fix. Lets hope it is, but i won't be holding my breath!
  2. Hi Yes I have this problem, the catch jams and what I do, till i fix it, is remove the catch and pull the cable (you will see what I mean when you take it off) Sometimes pushing the release catch under the dash back in helps! It's seems the cable is sticking and I intend to repair it (oneday). Greasing it may help also. Good luck. PS sorry its not the battery!
  3. Hi I fitted a K&N panel filter when I bought the car so I can't comment on what if any difference it made, but it must be better than OE if purely for its for life.
  4. Hi I have bought from the USA and found them OK. I bought a set of poly bushes for the anti roll bar and they only cost £25 inc PP and they came pretty quickly.
  5. Get it right guys! its the Supra that has the GS engine, not the other way round! the GS had it first. It's OK if it's the Aristo the skys the limit. There is more tuning gear in the USA and it sometimes comes on ebay, but nothing cheap.
  6. Not all models had them, I would check first before buying one as they won't fit in place of the standard filter!
  7. Interesting! I also read somewhere about the petrol cap problem, you have to make sure the cap clicks at least 3 times when tightening it on, more doesn't hurt.
  8. Did you read my post above? Yes thats right, I had to adjust mine.
  9. If you search the forum you will find lots of advice, I had one for £600 Stainless Steel full system, if you can find cheaper good luck.
  10. Hi I have the same car and it has the same size wheels. It looked a bargain.
  11. Tigerfish is correct, but what happen is the gearbox holds on to gears for longer and its a bit quicker to kickdown, but it should show on the dash. Sorry, I should add thats when its in power mode, in snow mode it starts in 2nd gear.
  12. But you need to take out the radiator! with this tool 600 ft pounds can be obtained! thats some impact wrench and the rad can stay in, but whatever suits.
  13. Hi I had to change my pulley and its a normal thread. It will be hard to remove, search the forum for more info. Regards I recently changed the crankshaft pulley on my Vauxhall. The bolt is a stretch bolt and unbelievably tight, even with a 4' tube on the socket I couldn't budge it. Fortunately I was able to drive it 50 yards to a guy with a decent impact gun, he had the old one off and the new one on in 10 mins, I tried for 2 hours! What you need is one of these, Sealey Tools Impact Bar Wrench 550mm 1/2”Sq Drive VS786, its the only thing to touch it and you won't need to remove the radiator. There are lots of videos on utube showing how to get one off, but some methods are downright dangerous, like using the starter motor.
  14. Hi I had to change my pulley and its a normal thread. It will be hard to remove, search the forum for more info. Regards
  15. Hi Try searching for this guy on ebay, he is in Texas but it only takes a week to come. energy-suspension-dealer
  16. Hi Tried to reply yesterday but the site wouldn't load? I have the same car and I just bought a set from the USA around £25 delivered. They are the poly bush type, off eBay, much cheaper than the UK. Regards
  17. Expect a big bill for the glass, around the £250 to £300 mark and they are very hard to come by second-hand.
  18. Thats what I eventually did, midsport not to noisy but not as quiet as EOM. MIJ full system including cat for £600.
  19. Hi Had one fitted for my MK2, including sports cat for £600, http://www.mijexhaus...-submitted.html Cheers Gordon
