    3) If your discs are hot and you come to a stop and hold the brake for 10-20 seconds then they will definitely warp. Hence, if you have been braking hard or braking excessively before you stop, then it's probably best to not hold the brake once stationary.

    MORIMOTO XENGREEN D4S Better than Philips IMO. Only downside is you will have to get them from US so postage will be high.

    Wow I wonder if they changed the design to overcome the flaw. Only time will tell I guess. I intend to keep mine for a long time, will find out eventually.

    Just dug up the invoice; The pump was £120 + VAT Labour was 130 + VAT I think the dealer wanted 600+ for it, if I recall correctly. The water pump is positioned awkwardly hence more time required to do the job.

    I have a 2007 IS250 and had the same issue at 68K. I had mine replaced by a Lexus Specialist and he commented that this was common on the IS250.

    2010 has LSD so gets my vote over a 2009.

    Hi guys, Can anyone tell me where I can a set of 20 OEM wheel nuts for the IS250? I can see there's plenty on Ebay but think that they will be of inferior quality. Hence after OEM. Thanks

    Finally got around to installing the low dust pads and boy what a difference they make. Recommended to everybody whose tired of cleaning their front wheels.

    Never really understood the logic behind the GS250. Seems like Lexus don't either now. I can't see the GS300h doing well either.

    It's useful if you want to reduce the body roll. The car feels more planted to the ground around the corners. You will loose some comfort though.

    Hi James, Welcome to the forum. F Sport bars will not fit your car and lexus are probably right if they are suggesting that you would need modifications to get them in. On the other hand the JUN-TW bars should fit your car out of the box. I can't comment on the voiding warranty bit. The JUN-TW bars are yellow in color and very easy to spot if your car is on the ramp. It's probably something that won't go by unnoticed at the dealers.

    I think the kerb weight of the car is around 1.6 tonne so you should be fine.

    I think a 2010 SE-L is the latest you can get in terms of the spec you want. Sunroof is not standard on any model so hard to find just like you've been told. I think things like Mark Levinson Stereo and Heated seats were discontinued from MY2011.

    Credit goes to agent_dess It was purple for three of us now so there's a good chance it will be purple for the rest (IS250's). IS220's might be different.

    I think it's carbon buildup. My car had the same issue when I first got it. Try driving on a motorway at 80MPH in 4th Gear for a few miles.This should start burning off some of the carbon. For your fuel line use something like BG or research Terraclean. This is a problem with all cars that have Direct Injection engines. ECT/PWR mode helps too. The car holds gears for much longer so you can get the engine worked up while driving in the city too. Reset your ECU. The transmission adapts to the driver. So if previous owners used to drive in granny mode then that's how the car will respond.

    Yes, Blue from the kit goes to purple on Connector C instead of white to make it fold at locking once.. I did sent you a text. I'll PM you instead.

    Got advice directly from Micheal regarding this and it's working as per my preference now. The kit is not difficult to install as long as you read the instructions properly and pace yourself. I personally love automation so here's one less thing for me to do every-time I use the car... :D Overall I am very pleased with the kit and the service from Micheal. He's been very prompt and helpful in our communication. Recommended!

    Wish I had seen your post earlier. Ishaq and I did this mod today and had the same issue. The mirrors fold on double locking only. I know it's been a while but can you please confirm if the thick purple wire you are referring to is on the connector below? So basically blue from the kit goes to purple instead of white right?

    Oh that's a bummer. I haven't paid attention to one in person but they do look nice in the pictures.

    Mine does that too occasionally but ChumpusRex is right, I haven't had it happen if the oil level is full. I had it inspected by the dealer and was going to take it up with Lexus UK but then decided not to as the 'fix' requires taking the engine apart and I don't think that is a good idea even if the dealer is doing it.

    Hello All, Does anybody know the exact color code for the f sport wheels? There is usually a page in the manual with wheel specs that tells the color code as well..

    I wan't this too! I have a habit of folding mirrors but sometimes it's not safe to do that before leaving your car.

    You can change the controls if you want. There are presets you can choose from. Customization is possible too.

    Distributors get stock few days in advance of release. If you avoid the major distributors and go for the smaller ones then some maneuvering is possible.

    Won't spoil it for you guys by revealing anything. Got it day before yesterday and played for 40 - 45 minutes. So far so good.
