almost every old LS400 has a leaky PS pump, that's why people put the plastic shrouds over them. is there anyone out there who's replaced the seal, cos then a few words and pictures and we can all do it!

easy - email me his email address and i'll send it! bit like tech and sales. "if we didn't make it you couldn't sell it" verses "if we didn't sell it you'd have nothing to make" - but sales almost always get paid more than engineers!

about 4 years ago i had a citroen XM, and every time our local bobby came for a coffee and he used his radio, the central locking unlocked but without first switching off the alarm, so it set off alarm and hazards. he said it was an easy way of getting into the bigger citroens, just stand next to them and use the radio! perhaps your cellfone is having an effect on your lexus?

thought i get this thread nearer the top of the latest postings! was looking for an independant lexus dealer on google, and went from there, but not sure by what route! (didn't find dealer tho!)

btbroadband 576 up 288 down or so it tells me, thro AOL at £34.99 incl free dial-up at 56k from anywhere in UK. i do monitor the speed tho (as AOL can give an accurate real-time speed, if you know what to do). so which button do i press?

as we've got at least two girl members, what do they think? as for me, old and grey ford-owner who's still awaiting getting his lexus back from the garage, my friends (male and female alike) keep asking if it's back cos they want a ride, this includes one merc E class owner who wants to check that her 52 reg is as good as my 'H' reg!

on a serious note: your ceiling has an 'artex' finish. artex manufactured before about 1980 had a high asbestos content and needs to be handled and disposed of correctly; definitely a job for the experts, but you will need to claim on your insurance to recover the thousands it costs. cos, if your house is newer than this, lie back and get your crown jewels kissed better!

if you are going to add colours, make the whole phrase coloured, not just the bit after NEW.

some commercially available reverse bleepers will switch off if you pop it into reverse so it starts to sound, then out again and immediately back in again, this time with no sound. have you tried that?

the bosch ones that RS sell usually come with a clutch of plastic clip adapters, but are the blades long enough? their longest with a spoiler is 550 (21.5inches)
