I did exactly the same with my GS the other week and have since fitted parking sensors. Got a quote from a local paint shop and they wanted £240 to paint the rear bumper. My Dad is in motor insurance claims and he has been told to use Auto Restore on all minor paint jobs by a leading car insurer so I guess theya re satisfied with teh quality. They are owned by Autoglass and basically come out, erect a tent around the car that has full ventilation and heat treatment. They will do the bumper in about 3-4 hours and will charge between £120 - £150 so not bad at all. Will be doing it soon so will let you know the results

NOt sure about the Mk 1 but Mk 2 has a badge in the centre here

Best advice I can give is to hold on til the last few days. I did that with the England v Barbarians match in December. They were going for up to £400 a ticket on ebay 3 weeks before. I got mine 5 days before for £60 each and they were top tickets just inside the 22 line The way I see it, if someone has tickets left in the last week there going to be desparate to get rid of them at any price. Depends what you mean by plush - if you mean old style with loads of antiques and 17 different floral patterns in the bedroom alone then go for the likes of Claridges. Just spoken to ABT the Audi approved tuners and they said that the chip is bonded to the motherboard and you cant change these over cos they are mapped to the identity of the donor car and wouldnt work in another!!! Sounds like bull**** to me as??

Hi, Non Lexus I know but hopefullly something that you guys could help on. We have 2 Audi A4 TDi's on our fleet one a 110BHP and the other a 130BHP Dont ask why, but we want to turn the 110 in to a 130 so is it a simple thing as swapping the chips over or is it the whole ECU? or is it not possible.

If it's only temporary then spray it black - personally I like the all black look of your car and a black grille will add to it I've always wanted dark alloys and think they complete the mean look B)

I think the original post on this was lost in the November crash, but basically I was asking advice on how to handle a court appearance for doing 100MPH on the M40. Following the advice from here and a helpful lawyer, I pleaded guilty by post but gave a statement of mitigating circumstances (see below) Upshot of it all was 5 points and a £450 fine which by all accounts wasnt too bad :D This is quite amusing though, an extract from my statement; B)

I had the brake warning light come on a while ago as you describe. Just topped it up with fluid and it went away. I did however read a post afterwards saying that the GS doesnt have brake sensors and that the drop in fluid level is an indication that the pads are wearing down. The mirrors have a heating element within them. I do have a rattle but I dont know whether it is the vent or the panel around the screen below - yor really notice these things when the car is so quiet and its bl**dy annoying

I am not condoning what he said or the way in shich he presented it, but have you ever seen his TV show, he is very direct, up front and to the point. Thats his style and unfortunately on such a sensitive topic he should have been a tad more diplomatic

He is well entitled to his opinion and has freedom of speech. I have not examined everything that he has said, but from the Mcdonald interview the other night, I thought fair play to you.... With that said, being a politician and TV presenter, he should be careful what he says. What P155ES me off is how he has been victimised by the media and it has all been blown out of proportion. The only reason it never escalated before is because of the media. I am also sick of the BBC who have just over reacted to protect their own precious reputation globally. Kilroy should take his show elsewhere and stuff the bbc
