  1. That is looking nice Russell. Thought of anything for a replacement yet? BTW. Does the super charger make a big difference? Been thinking a lot about one of these over the last week or so...
  2. Welcome along! Nice colour choice.... ;)
  3. If Royal Snail was a bit quicker i'd stick some in a Jiffy for you.....
  4. I couldn't find any 16" alloys in time so bought a set of 17"'s (same as what's in my sig) and paid 80 quid for them. They needed refurbing but after a rub down and some paint they're ready for the snow. Should've painted them silver not black though.......
  5. Seems a good idea but I have bought a couple of bits for the IS already (waiting for warm weather to rip the car to bits) and spend a small fortune in the 5 weeks I've had it. (reads: half the original purchase cost)
  6. Thank you very much :) I don't know what made me get a GS i don't really see many about.... I liked the look of the IS200 i just couldn't find one for sale in my budget :( Tom They are both very nice looking things but I expected too much from the IS I guess. I am starting to like it now though so not all bad. There's a V-reg GS300 a couple of streets along from here. Same colour as mine but the same as yours. Identical alloys etc. Very nice!
  7. Same as Matt said above, all been fine with the winters on in yesterdays snow. Just like driving in the wet.
  8. Always good to have a second set for winters. Saves getting tyres fitted every time the weather changes. I have two sets of 17's at the moment. One winter set and one summer. Be careful buying alloys though as it can get addictive. I had four sets of alloys for my BMW 5-Series....
  9. Welcome along Tom. I really should've bought a GS!
  10. Haha, she's had her current Celica for 7 years so it's time to get her something else. She was looking at RAV4's before too but then this purple Celica came up so she changed her mind...
  11. Welcome along Chris. Is that a 4-pot?
  12. Don't know if one is better than the other. I think it's whatever you prefer. I prefer auto's but only in bigger cars if that makes sense? Auto's do drink a little more than manuals though.
  13. Yeah, would be nice to just make it beep once or twice. From googling I've found it's part of the instrument cluster. This'll be coming out on mine when it's a bit warmer and I'll have a look if I can mute it a bit rather than disconnecting it completely.
  14. Milk Tray should do it! Toyota Celica made out of chocolate don't come along often Karl....
  15. Haha. You keep that car in one piece. I'd like to buy some Aeros but I've stopped spending on this car for now. Got to buy the misses something nice next.
  16. Thought it looked a bit chav/boy racer ish? Glad when the summers go back on. Anyway once you given me your Aeros I can stick my winter tyres on my summer alloys and have yours for summer....... No?
  17. Not a big Ford fan but the RS200 is stunning. Any Group B rally car from back then would be welcome on my drive B)
  18. Well, took the rear seats out yesterday and the boot lining and relocated the beeper to where it should be. Much better now I can hear the thing! Thanks again Russell
  19. Stuck the winter wheels on this morning. I much prefer the silver summer ones. I don't think black suits it much...
  20. Excellent! You should've bought a breaker with full leather Ian...
