  1. I've fitted one in mine for the time being and it's opening and closing fine. Looking from the back iirc IGN is bottom right, S/IGN above it and ground bottom left
  2. Yeah, it's in bits ATM and broken up. Click sig... The newer Mercs are alright but I wouldn't touch any between 1994 and 2005 unless the whole thing has been dipped in hammerite....
  3. Which pins have you connected what to? There's only 4 pins that need connecting. Earth IGN Switched IGN Live from cluster or climate to light up the 2 buttons
  4. Welcome along! Nice looking thing. You can slide back the sunroof cover to gain more headroom, not ideal but these cars are tiny.
  5. Unless you're after after market?
  6. They're all reflector units even the factory Xenon clusters.
  7. Ah OK. Might need to do some eBaying to see if there's some nice wheels about. Every IS200 you see has the same wheels on... Staggered means that the rears are wider than the fronts.
  8. Had it twice now in the two months I had the thing and on both occasions after it had been parked up and not used for an hour or so it was working as normal again. Press and hold the eject button until you hear a beep. It should eject all six discs. Then press and hold the load button until you here a beep and insert all six again.
  9. Mine are the same as above in the brochure and only two. The ones on your car look more refined (but still ugly) I know on the later models the changed from two to four. I'd get one out and take the part number off and do some Googling. If all fails, install an after market kit retaining the OEM beeper.
  10. Hi and welcome! Lived in your neighbouring country for 25 years. Should be passing you soon too..
  11. What happens when you need to go back up hill?.....
  12. They were Silver Stuart but needed painting. They only had black or white paint in jtf and they needed done asap. This is how I picked them up Then sanded, primed, painted and lacquered. Mine are only winter runabouts but for my main alloys I'd have them blasted and coated or painted by someone who knows what they're doing...
  13. I got quoted £130 for a set of 5. (blasting and coating) Yes, the ones in Crewe. I don't have centre caps on my winters yet. I might just get some plain ones as they're going to be black anyway.
  14. There's a scabby set on for sub 50. Doubt they'll fetch much more than 70 quid now the snow has gone!
  15. Get a nice blue GS300 and then when you don't like it you can do a swap with my IS200?.....
  16. If they need refurbing I'd not pay more than £100 tbh
  17. Depending on condition and style. I paid 80 al in for mine last month or so. Not the best condition but rubbed them down and painted them and they're fine for winters. Can't find any good picts on my ipad ATM
  18. I've never had a LS but I have had a few big cars with the latest being a 2004 Range Rover Vogue and a 2001 BMW 740i and just swapped my 1997 BMW 525 for an IS200. You will miss the comfort, ride quality and build. Believe me! The IS200 is a nice looking car but don't expect it to be what you want it to be...
  19. Yeah, TRC is ghey.... Just interferes with stuff when it's least wanted...
