yea it has alot to do with the wastegate setup,
My car was setup to run at .65 -10% with the boost controller, so as i was about to hit .65 it would drop by 10% there for controling the boost.
Ellz, i would say get one mate,
Boost controller
if boost starts off at .5 and you use the boost controller to increase the boost level to .7 you can then set it back to .5 and have the controller to hold it at .5
Thats what my "Greddy Profec" did and worked well, i could set it to .7 if i wanted to! and then reset it to .3 ,
if it could not control boost they would just call it a boost increaser and not a (boost controller) use one to set the boost at the level you want!
its up to you what you set it at!

400......see the swap im doing i was going to use the R154 out of the MK3 supra as i know it can take the power..........but i may well stay with the IS one now! and see what it will take........have see now what adaptors i will need to fix it to the 1UZ
Hi guys any one know what the OEM gearbox can take , and what can be done to make it take abit more. would it help to fit an oil/cooler to the gearbox.
any info would be good........

i was paying 589.00 and then when my car was Turboed i went with Adrian Flux, and told them off all the mods as well. and they came back with 689.00 :D and then i had a big crash on the A2 they payed to get the car fixed 7K...............and when i went to renew my in,s they then wanted 1100 of me
NO im not that mad to buy a NEW just so it can drop in price as soon as i drive it out the showroom, + my IS when its done will be more than a match for the new IS-f and it will cost hell of alot less than the IS-F, :winky:
But if you have to have then dont let me put you off...............as it is a very nice looking IS :winky:
