Ok well the 005 is 230mm L 170MM W AND 225MM H 075 IS 243mm L 175mm w and 175mm h I would think the only issue you would have is the 075 being 50mm shorter depending on how the battery is retained in the cage regards peter

So ok then answer me this out of all you that said they would not buy a new car how many of you go out and get the latest new phone or ipad or camera or gadget when it comes out not because you need it but want it or go on expensive holidays or spend hundreds on a named shirt or jacket do you do it to show off or do it because you like it and yes before you say the costs cant be compared but its about personal choice, not about one upmanship or snobbery as in my case my car was 5 years old no warranty and getting a fantastic trade in price I don't drink or smoke but my only luxury is my car and I have never lost a nights sleep worrying about what my neighbours think but as we speak I am looking at buying a 1972 triumph herald don't think that can depreciate much more lol.

Hi Darren And welcome sorry to hear about your problems, I was in a similar position to you when I bought my last Lexus last year and was advised by the well informed people on here after numerous times to get my Lexus sorted to quote the not fit for purpose act to them I am sure someone will explain it to you shortly. have you explained to the dealer who you bought it from that two other firms have said the work needs doing and if so what was their reply. As for customer services well it depends who you get my first contact was a lovely lady very helpful and informative the second was a male void of all emotion who just kept saying we have to follow Lexus protocol and procedure I gave up in the end ringing them. But saying all that my Lexus dealership bent over backwards for me so i have no complaints with them I am curious about which dealership as I am from Lancashire keep us informed and good luck Darren Regards peter

Sorry could not be more helpful but it like buying a cover plan until it brakes down or you have to ring customer services you cant judge it, its funny I have spent £300 for something I have never seen or used it spends all its day asleep and feeding off my battery and if the day comes to use it will it awake from its sleep to save the day or say sod it and put the snooze button on.

I cant really tell you that much, I had mine fitted at Bolton Lexus had a choice of two types one which you could go on the internet and track your vehicle at anytime day or night or the one I had which if the car is stolen you get a incident number off the police then ring the tracker company who activate the system and give the code to the police to track it cost me nearly £300 to purchase and have it fitted. And a annual subscription to the tracker company . unless the tracker is ever activated cant tell you much more except the company I used was the one Lexus recommended

Ground crew with all the cuts I heard it was a group of gypsy women with pop bottles full of water and a squeegee and you gave them a quid to clean your windscreen. -

Is It Human Nature To Always Strive For More?
Lillywhites replied to Stuno1's topic in Lexus Owners Club Lounge
This topic got me thinking when I was at school I had to get a weekend job to help out to buy food and pay bills etc as we never had much but we were happy. and when I was 16 i got a job and all I ever dreamt of was getting my own house, married with 3 nice children and so I started working 7 days a week doing stupid hours working away from home two to three weeks at the time and yes earning plenty of money which I saved and invested in properties . Forward to present date and I celebrated my 49th birthday last week with my wife and three kids. I still work 7 days a week do I need too no, do I work 7 days for the money no, friends ask my why I do it when I don't need to and all I can say its all I am used too. and when I do think of slowing down I have this little person on my shoulder saying peter what will happen if this happens or that happens so I push on is there a down side yes I missed my two girls growing up and regret that and never made the same mistake with my youngest would I give it all up to get those years back with my girls yes without a doubt so my advice earn as much as you can when you can but don't make the same mistake as me thinking you need more you don't. and don't forget why your doing it and miss your children growing up as you will not get a chance to go back LIVE FOR TODAY AS YOU DONT KNOW WHATS ROUND THE CORNER wish I had learnt this lesson a lot earlier. -

Hi New Member With A Rx450H F-Sport With Niggles
Lillywhites replied to Lillywhites's topic in New Members Area
Well I have had the car back since Monday the 14th and guess what silence not a squeak its a pleasure to drive once again without the knowledge of the clang coming. Falling back in love with it all over again the only down side is they replaced the drivers side top strut mount to solve this problem which they had already told me they had done previous so this makes me think because they could not replicate the noise they just said they done these things hoping we might not come back who knows but at this moment in time I am a happy Lexus driver again thank you for all your comments and advice regards peter.
