  1. Not me but maybe see you it that car about as I am in Chelmsford
  2. Same rollers before and after fit on same day will give most accurate reading. Not teaching you to suck eggs. I had variance if 5hp on same rollers same car at different times of year.
  3. Peugeot 306 Vw golf mk2 cl Skoda fabia vrs Mazda 3 mps aero Mazda rx8 Mitsubishi fto Mazda 323 Seat leon 1.8 se Lexus isf :0) 2 motorbike in there as well. Kawasaki ninja 636 and suzuki gsxr 750
  4. Peter. As the f is a N/A car those gains don't sound right at all. Turbo cars with map, intake, decat will only gain 30-50 bhp depending on car.
  5. Heard of all of them. US forum is the best place to research i think and if thats the consensus then happy days :)
  6. Are they the coilovers most people use? There seem to be a number of options available. Stu
  7. I know a lot of you feel the ISF is the finished package but i was wondering how many owners would modify their cars? For me an intake and exhaust is all i intend to to purely to release more sound. The rest of the car is just how i like it. Stu
  8. In terms of tuning this car, it will suffer the same way the Mazda MPS series does. Not massively well know compared to M3's etc. It is Lexus's first real performance car and they are not known for these sorts of cars. It needs to build a head of steam and the more F'f they release the more of a following it will get. I usually re-map, change wheels, tweak the exterior, change suspension, change exhausts, intakes etc etc. All i am doing to this car is the intake as want more sound and the exhaust as the fake tips irritate me. If the exhaust had real tips i would probably leave it. The rest of the car is epic and in my mind doesn't need changing. Stu
  9. Looking as similar systems looks to be approximately 700-800 all in. I'll go see them and get that confirmed though. Stu
  10. They do seem to get superb reviews. Premesis look a bit noddy in pics I have seen though.
  11. I'm just keen to get an exhaust on to properly hear the V8. Was doing research today as you can tell from my post. The company get great reviews but their garage looks a bit school boy. Will wait to see what this lot can do exhaust wise. If we can get a few members interested may be worth his while. Like we know already, only issue may be tail pipes. I am sure people like power flow (suite I know) offer that shape though so im sure they can manage something. Want my intake yesterday! lol
  12. Those pads look a similar price to Brembos. Do you prefer them then?
  13. Joe z system! Lol Quoted just under 900 dollars for shipping! Will check their site out. Was this down to you?
  14. Importing looks too pricey so myself and Pete are looking in to UK options. I will be going to a company called Hayward and Scott. http://www.haywardandscott.com/ They seem to get very good reviews and fit to Porsches etc. See Piston Heads forum link below. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1162667&mid=108646&i=20&nmt=+Custom+stainless+exhausts%2C+South+London+and+surrounding%2E&mid=108646 Would anyone else be interested in a system? I am looking at cat back systems. Stu
  15. Looks great. GS F was what i was hoping for. Next time around I want the same performance as the IS F but more room as I may have a slightly expanded familly by then and the ISF wont work for me with 2 kids due to needing 2 child seats. It will fit both but at a squeeze. IS F is ideal for now and looks like the F level is set to spread throughout the range which is fantastic.
  16. Pistonheads and e-bay are good. Also check local car auction sites as some may come up there.
  17. Welcome to the forum pal. Will be a lovely first car. As above have you looked at insurance quotes so you know what to expect?
  18. I asked this a week or so ago and asked the main dealer. It is normal due to the size of the tyre. it is not rubbing the arches so not causing any damage. Nothing to worry about. :D
  19. Now lexus have the ISF to compete with the M3, C63 AMG and RS4. Are there any plans to release a car to compete with the M5's, XF-R's, R6's etc. That will be where i go next and was hopoing Lexus would have an offering. Stu
  20. That stuff looks ok but won't give same level of finish as a pro. Was quotes just under 200 for driver seat, passenger seat and arm rest. Happy with that.
  21. Good choice of tyre. Just ordered some for mine. These are a very popular choice for performance cars and get very good reviews. Often better than eagle f1, Bridgestone potenzas, toyo's etc. usually a bit cheaper as well. I have spent hours researching tyres and would not use anything else. It is one area you just don't budget on. Just like brakes.
  22. My isf does these sort of mpg figures as well! ;)
  23. Yeah they have been spot on so far. Dealer is woodford lexus. They service 8 isf's! Extended warranty might have washed its face within 2 weeks!
