  1. Maybe a AA or RAC check first? Not always spot on but couldn't hurt? Also, how many owners? I get every car I buy services ASAP so may coincide with change if ownership. 3 years is a long time though and you would be taking a punt that when you service it all is well. As I said to you. I paid 18.5 for slightly younger, 10k more miles and with some warranty remaining. I think its too much fella.
  2. Yup. Heated seats are ace! Just wondered. I know some cars turn on lights, heater elements etc.
  3. Can you start the car in the morning using the fob so it warms up and de-mists or do you have to enter the car, start it using the manual key and go back in to the house with the electronic key (so car cant be driven off)? Stu
  4. in that case my apologies. sounded like a swift back hand to the face :)
  5. Not really a necessary final comment there fella. i am being open and honest, i understand what i have done and i am offering information to help anyone else who ends up in a similar position.
  6. Not too silly a speed, just over 100 and genuinely thought i was doing 80-90 (which i appreciate is over 70!). As above, no excuse but thats what has happened and i am now going down the pat of damage limitation. Anything clocked at over 101MPH meanms possible ban depending on driver histoer, road condirions etc.,
  7. Fo anyone in this positon in the future (potentially losing their licence) i have been advised of the below by a solicitors firm. 1. The car was 'foreign' and far more powerful than the car P/X'd on the same day. 2. Road condidions were ideal in terms of dry, clear bright day 3. It was motorway driving with very little traffic 4. I had no passangers in the car. 5. I have a clean licence As such in my sitauation a ban is not likely but legal representation will assits in putting forward an effective arguement. Representation is not cheap at £1200 fixed fee by my licence is priceless!
  8. Lol. I appreciate that. But cant hurt to investigae and see what i can find out.
  9. Bloomin hec, other prople have been in a similar position, i was just after advice on representation. If you have nothing useful to add to the thread then don't add to the thread!
  10. Anyone who has been in a similar position who has sought legal representation.
  11. Caught on the day i collected my new car. Wasnt aware of the speed i was going. Any legal folks able to offer advice? PM me. Stu
  12. So 300 cheaper than than oem brembo pads. Anyone tried sourcing brembo pads not from a dealer?
  13. Seen a few like this of late. They get around a lot of forums which I am sure is the objective.
  14. Lol! http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Ultrac-Sessanta.htm
  15. Vredestien ultrac sessanta pal. Better than Bridgestone, Pirelli etc and similar price if not a mite cheaper. Google the and compare against others on the tyre review site. Quiet as well.
  16. I am using a belkin aux at the moment but ordered a Bluetooth reciever to see which I prefer using.
  17. Grey, 52k miles on a 58 reg. Some of you need to get out more! Lol
