  1. Spoke to my dealer. 140 per wheel for referb. I think that's pretty good for 19" wheels. Taking the car down soon to have calipers and both passenger side wheels looked at for warranty claim. As stated above front calipers have flaking paint and passenger side wheels are flaking mid spoke not due to stone chips. Hopefully ill just need to shell out for 2 wheel referbs. Also, courtesy car would be provided :0)
  2. Hi. I thinks so. I don't use a pressure washer :0)
  3. Wendle - that would be ideal. We shall see. Roheel - I am in chwlmaford pal.
  4. The lexus is a modern car and will be fine outside. If the triumph is your passion keep and restore it! Looks very tidy. Stu
  5. Cheers peter. Once wheels are referbed and callipers sorted it is basically mint. Seats are just me being picky :0) cleaned boot/door/bonnet recesses as well as inside petrol cap and engine bay plastics. Lol... took 3 and a half hours. If you want to see/hear intake when it arrived and is installed. I'm not too far from you. Stu
  6. Ok. Is settle for spares while job is being done. Wasn't going to claim for wheels, just callipers. Calling them tomorrow so will know soon enough!
  7. Lexus will provide courtesy car and any issues are on them.
  8. Body shops will fill and flatten but not worth it imo. Maybe just spray and laquer your current badges?
  9. While cleaning my ISF for the first time today I noticed the front right calliper paint is half stripped off the calliper. Is this normal? Surely not. They are Brembo's for goodness sake! IS there a warranty claim here for a new r re-conditioned calliper? Stu
  10. I have to say overall the car is in very good condition. I plan to have the leather seats (front) touched up so they are pristine. I did notice that both driver side wheels have had a pretty average referb done. They have lost the glossy look. Anyone know how much lexus change to do proper referb? Also, driver side caliper has lost a fair bit of the black paint. Can lexus referb calipers? Stu
  11. Sounds good and look forward to seeing what he says :0)
  12. Thanks for that. It just frustrates me to have never had a speeding ticket before and then get this happening. Just have to hope court (whenever it is) goes well. Stu
  13. The joe z one looks pretty basic compared to hks one. Just showing the guy pics for the link above should be adequate? Would need to be cat back system to ensure mot pass. I have had custom exhausts in the past and had no issues as like you got work done by people I know do a good job. Stu
  14. Be interested depending in price and doing some research on the chap.
  15. Did some digging and spoke to them on face book. They have shipped world wide from this site if anyone is interested. I am not as can't see it being less than 1500-1800 including fitting, exhaust and import. L-tunedparts.com Stu
  16. That's promising to hear! Thanks for letting me know chap.
  17. If you need seats worked on I'll be able to give some ideas on this early next year. My seats are good but very minor wear I am going to get sorted . Will be mint once this is done.
  18. Congratulations bud. Glad it worked out for you. You WILL love it. Take care on the drive home! Lol
  19. Cheers mike. Appreciate that. I did think the law would be more flexible dependent on history and circumstances. Hey ho.
  20. Best to wait for the right car chap. May still work out. Also there is a 2010 you could probably buy for 23k!
  21. Steve- had a chat with a lawyer today and they are hopeful of no ban but 6 points and a fine. I am holding my breath for when the day comes. Could be months yet.
  22. Yeah true. Don't plan on it as use train for work just curious :)
