  1. I have the Peco. Nice looking plus the sound is only just deeper than standard.
  2. 100% first time ....yeah!!!! :D
  3. Didn't he leave to become the next Arnie /Stallone /Van Damme /G@bsh#te :shruriken:
  4. Top show...they left it on a good cliff hanger then spoilt it by showing what happens next! Doh! I love the way they blatantly advertise the Toyota Tundra truck every episode. Even though there was no challenge this week they still managed to fit one in by giving it away as a prize (giving a good close up of the badge just in-case you didn't hear Sly mention it about 50 times!!!)....
  5. Don't want to count my chickens mate but hopefully this single wheel will be in good condition......put it one way the description defo doesn't state it's buckled :P
  6. I can't believe my luck! :D At the end of yesterday I thought I'd have a quick browse of ebay before leaving work. And low and behold 1x18" Styling wheel for sale described as perfect for a spare or if your wheel is buckled, on a reasonable buy it now price - must have been destiny....just what I needed. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Anyway I'm now in two minds whether to get my money back for the buckled wheel or keep it as a spare. Is there any law stating that you need to have a spare the same size as the rest? Could you get away with putting on a spare wheel that is smaller than the rest in an emergency/puncture? Have the guys who have upgraded their wheels to a larger size also upgraded their spare? Thanks, Miles
  7. In his advert last week he stated in the description a buy it now price for 4K Which is great value for money. However, it was then taken off the same day. I emailed the guy (thinking that was a good price) and he said that he'd just moved to Greece with his wife, after she got a job out there, and so he didn't need the car. So it would be shipped from there. he seemed genuine enough. It might not be to everyones taste, but under all the bits and bobs it's still a Lex! :D :D :P
  8. They'll look very nice when you get them on the Lex mate... and nobody will notice the pitting anyway when they're behind the rims, so don't worry about it! :P
  9. I had something similar but it only happened on the one light, changed the bulbs - nothing happened. It ended up just being some loose wiring.
  10. I thought the same Matt....both are 18". Had a feeling you'd say the Styling Gord!! he, he

  13. Thanks Scarface! I've got piccies of them on my car for a good comparison but when I select browse, locate the file attachment and then add attachment it doesn't seem to be displaying...sorry to be a pain mate Could I email the piicies to you and then add them to the poll? Thanks again!
  14. Noooooooooo!! I could have swear that they were attached. Can someone please help? Ta!
  15. After taking off the buckled styling wheel the other day I lashed on one of the wheels that I planned on selling. About 95% of mates who've seen these 2 wheels prefered the T12 to the styling alloy. Myself. I'm still unsure.... :P Which do you think looks better? Ta, Miles

Not sure mate.. I'll check my buckled one when I get home from work and let you know if I see anything
  17. Thanks that's some great advice!!! I've sent out an email to him but he's been slow getting back to me in the past so I don't expect anything else now. I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks again, Miles
  18. Paid for these by cheque and at an early 'buy it now' price so would this affect any of my rights. Still got description and all emails leading to the sale. Gonna send a mail to the guy now and see what he says.
  19. I checked for any obvious damage when they turned up but they looked fine. The only way I could see the buckle was when they were on the car or the balancing machine so there's no way I could have seen. I really like the wheels but am p :tsktsk: ssed that someone has ripped me off. I've only drove about 800 metres in total so if he even considered blaming me i'd :tsktsk: :shruriken: !!!
  20. Having a nightmare.....I got my styling wheels fitted yesterday, didn't do too much driving and not at speed. Anyways, just so happens that my brother seen me and was following me when he started flashing. I pulled up and he said that there was a wobble on my back wheel. Got it checked out this morning and it's buckled i knew it didn't feel right but couldn't put my finger on it. I got the wheels from a fella on ebay (think it was from some sort of garage) for 500 notes. There was absolutely no mention of one of the wheels being buckled and if it was slight it might not have been so bad but it's well out!!! So it's left me with the following options: a) let the fella know and try to get my money back - it was hard enough getting the flippin wheels from him in the first place once the money had cleared. B) keep the wheels, try and source another - anyone know where I could get one without being stung? What do you reckon? thanks! Miles (not a ver happy chappie )
  21. Cheers Gord! Is this the only car that they will fit? I thought it might be a few others as well
  22. Does anyone know what other cars share the same wheel fitting as the IS? MR2, FTO, etc? After getting some styling wheels gonna sell a set of 18" alloys that I bought and never got round to fitting the car and want to broaden the appeal. :P Thanks, Miles
  23. He's just found out that it'll cost him 3K for a basic turbo or 5K for the full jobbie He was hopeing it'd be a bit cheaper than that.....it's definitely a no go for that price as he got the car cheap from a mate in the first place! :(
  24. Before I start I've tried to convince this guy to buy a lex but he's not the brightest star in the sky..... :D Anyway, my mate has a 1997 Audi A4 1.8 and he's trying to find out if he could bolt a turbo onto his engine from another audi 1.8 t engine. He's tried a couple of audi forums and got very little reply...obviously not as good as LOC So could anyone offer a bit of advice if this could be done, if any other modifications would be needed, and know of anywhere in the North West that could do this type of work? Thanks, Miles
