Got a lot of basic questions that need answering with regards to using the auto box and how to get the most outta the cruise control. Once I've got use to the car then will comethe avalanche of questions :D

Hi, Feels weird not posting in the IS part of the forum but here's my first question on the Aristo/GS300..... When I picked up the Aristo there was no handbook supplied (either Japanese or Engish). So what I need to know is....is it worth buying an Handbook for the GS300 and will this give me much general info on the Aristo or should I contact someone mentioned in previous posts who sells english Aristo manuals? To anyone who has bought one: Are these any good? Also I've seen these on fleebay for the US GS300/400/430. Would there be much difference and would it be worth buying one of these? Any advice here would be great! Thanks, Miles

They look like GS300 wheels to me. If they're chrome 17's they may be mark ii aristo wheels (like what I have on my car at the mo'.

Forgive my ignorance but what is BPU and BPU++?

Not sure if it's any good or not mate, but I've noticed you can buy supagard kits from fleebay for a tiny fraction of the price you'd pay at a dealer. ;)

Thanks again! @ PIP that's basically right. Wanted performance, practicality and luxuary. Couldn't fault the IS except that if i wanted more power in the future it would have been fairly expensive and a lot of hassle. Considered an IS300 but the price was a fairly high difference for only a small change, M5 but out of my price range and couldn't vouch for reliability, so had been looking for an Aristo for about 8 months before finding one fairly local and at a very reasonable price :D :D Just gotta put the private plate on and possibly some new alloys. Bought some sc430 wheels for it which I've not fitted yet but still undecided on whether I like them.

Wow! That's a very nicely styled car inside and out. Any idea how much they'll be sold for and If they'll reach these shores?

Just had the best week or so ever!!! :D Bought an Aristo V300 for 1K under what I expected (great car, v fast, smooth, gadgets) :D :D Sold s/c IS200 for full asking price to a local lad. Told him to get his arse on LOC! Then to make it perfect my wife gave bith to our first child 4 weeks early. A beautiful baby girl named Lucy!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D What a great feeling, i'm floating on air! I'll have many questions on the Aristo when insurance is sorted and I get it out for a proper drive (as Mitul - Skeet will testify ), when my feet finally touch the ground! I had a similar problem with my IS fuel guage when filling up with a higher octane petrol for the first time....it's a possiblility.

He'll do the business for us and he loves the club! :P

He sells cars on ebay and will live or die on his feedback so I don't think I've got too much to worry about, it's also been MOT'd today. If the car was sold on autotrader even though it isn't from a forecourt he would still be classed as a trader if you see what I mean. The guy genuinely sounds like a nice chap...just thinking about worse case senario though as I can't get it properly checked. Just to throw something else in the mix. The guy I'm buying this car off is a trader on ebay. Now if I buy this car and there is something dangerously wrong do I have any consumer rights where I cold take this back or would I need to get something in writing when handing over the cash first (if so has anyone got an example).
