    Higher the amp better cranking power for 89 its cheaper then halfords get it from Lexus 9out of 10 its sounds like battery can u check water in it??????

    Varta r good they supply major dealers with their stamp on @ charge u for stamp lol

    Sounds like battery has died.check voltage with a meter if u got 1 @ check water.clean terminals with wire brush hope this helps battery hasnt enough charge to start car if its a diesal they take lot of power to start

    Tyre place usually have special nut remover tool

    When I bought my is220d se l thought my locking nut was missing but found it it glove box get a tyre place to drill it out or u could buy 1 from ur local car parys place there standard fitting hope this helps

    It folds fine whens its open it sounds like motor making noise like a bee bzzzzz

    My r h side mirrors motor makes a noise on a is220d 2006. It makes it now @ then not every time. any ideas thx?????

    Its same colour as mine except its petrol @ mines a diesel @ same spec ur very lucky u found key its very expensive to buy around £300 nice cars to drive

    Thats a rip off go with rac,aa which covers everything u can get service cheaper at ur local garage.ask them how much warranty will cost?????? Service is not important its warranty u need.how many services r u gonna have maybe once a yr these cars can b serviced after 20k aswell.

    Try rac,aa,warranty direct they will b cheaper @ they r good had aa in past they r good @ when bought car from Preston motorpark got rac for £300 but I got it free,also had rac in past they r good.dealers r just rip off hope this helps mate @ what does that cover????? Fot that price hope it covers everything

    When was last egr was cleaned???? Try cleaning it it will make difference @ what is ur mpg????? Iav got same model cleaned egr @ it made huge difference with power @ mpg or could try using forte diesal treatment

    hi dave just cleaned egr valve on a lexus is220d 2006 there a pipe which connects to egr so what does that pipe do?????dropped it underneath in tray so had to put a thinner 1 on is it ok yhx

    Egr was really clogged up badly dont think its ever been taken off @ cleaned,I think its easy if u remove battery well I feel epic loooooool

    Well it was my first time ever to take egr job on lol next time it wont take long it didnt take long to put it back it was rear bolts that were jammed plus got a little help from my taxi mechanic like using his tools,if didnt drop bolt @ gasket underneath engine tray I would have taken less time,still got put underneath tray back on yet

    Hi all just cleaned egr valve what a mission to.do first coulnt open rear bolts once opened dropped bolt underneath in tray had to take underneath engine tray off also dropped gasket aswell , egr was blocked with carbon @ put everything back ok was getting 22 mpg now 35-39 mpg plus its put life into car now .

    What sort of mpg r u getting?????? sorry is it diesel or petrol mines diesel im getting 22ishmpg
