  1. Hi. There are a couple of items represented by a couple of car graphics on the lower left corner of the screen when the reversing camera is engaged by shifting into reverse.. Press them to switch mode. All the best with the car. RX is fabulous Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  2. Hi. I have my RX400h serviced at Lexus Birmingham and after the intermediate service that I had last week they said the bushes on mine were slightly deteriorated but nothing needed doing to them for awhile yet. They show me the photographic evidence and the video, mine has done 85000 miles and is is 9 years old, that's not bad I guess. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. Hi. On the RX it's 100, 000 miles. Good luck. The RX is a fantastic cruiser Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi. It's worth taking it to the dealers to have a look before next week. I'm sure they will find something. I don't think problems of that sort are very common . good luck Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  5. Hi. Is there nothing in the manual about opening it in an emergency? I tend to recall that there may be Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  6. Ah. Sorry, I didn't take note of that. :-P Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  7. Hi. Personally I'd go for a 250 and avoid the diesel. The petrol car is much more refined so I've heard and better styled. What about a 300h ? Hybrid feul consumption and you have the best of both worlds. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  8. Good luck. Nice car.. Both of them Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  9. Hi. I've done 85, 000 miles in my RX400h. No battery degradation at all so far. I have it serviced at Lexus Birmingham Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  10. We all know the fuel economy figures are not to be relied on, we buy our Lexus's for comfort, longevity desirability, customer service and more. If fuel economy is a major concern it's probably best to go for a smart car. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  11. Hi. Cars this complex need to be taken to the dealers I think. Long gone are the days when you can do them on the drive Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  12. Hi. I like your choice of car. I drove one a few years ago at a Lexus test day event. Great car. I drive a fantastic RX400h. I'm pleased you didn't have a Mercedes as my uncle has had two mercs and both times has crippling electronic problems. Keep with Lexus. Great cars Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  13. Hi. I have a sunroof in mine and never had any issues with it. Still got plenty of head room too. The only observation i have is the RX 450 with the panoramic roof seems have a lot less Headroom I've noticed. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  14. Hi. Something about it here. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/82541-Rx400H-Awd-Rear-Diff-Problem---Help-/-Advise-Please Rx400H Awd Rear Diff Problem - Help / Advise Please Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  15. What about a LC 500 looks great. I had a Toyota Celica. The one with the pop up head lights Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  16. I must say I've never had any problems with my battery so maybe something that will never arise , but I think if you're going to leave any car for nine weeks you going to have a bit of trouble starting it when you come back not just the RX400h Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  17. Hello, nothing. It sounds like it's working perfectly. the computer's on your car will sort out when it wants to charge the battery and if it gets too low the engine will come in and start automatically or it will start if you turn on the air conditioning things like that. Unless someone knows different here . Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  18. Well done and all the best with the car. I drive an RX but I've had an NX a few times when I've had a service, and they are excellent. Congratulations. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  19. Hello I'm not sure ,but I think what you are referring to is the change between normal breaking and friction breaking or something like that, there is a thread somewhere I think in the forum about when the 400 changes from one method of breaking to the other there is a slight Sensation somewhat like what you've described, but maybe I am on the wrong track . Have you actually got the gear selection in the b mode for engine braking? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. Hello quite often and the ACC does run all the time you have to turn it off manually if you don't want it to run Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. I should think the premiere would be softer. It's supposed to be the top of the range of luxury after all, not sports oriented. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  22. Yes. Your right. I'm sure Lexus Birmingham use valeters. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
