  1. I don't have much choice as I'm disabled , so I can't do it myself, so I take mine to Lexus Birmingham but they always do a good job as far as I'm concerned and the car is always spotless afterwards Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  2. If you use the services of a Lexus dealer you can have a free car wash whenever you need it. They do a good job. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. I would have thought it's not a very important consideration as It Gets warm pretty quickly just enjoy the rest of the car Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi. My RX Is the same. No ring tones until pick up. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  5. Yes. Just take it off automatic. I think to an extent the system will learn your preferences the more you put them in. Mine seems to. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  6. Hello, forgive me, I may be mistaken. But didn't the 450 come out in 2010? Just wondering. I have a 2007 RX400h, some people have had battery issues when leaving a car for two weeks, but I never have and I use an Olympian auto chair hoist as well to get my mobility scooter in and out too. At some point I'll upgrade to a 450 but I want the one with the running lights and smart entry and I think those features only came out in 2013.. But again I may be wrong. Merry Christmas Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  7. Well done. I too get consistently great service and help from Lexus Birmingham. Great company, great cars Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  8. Well, don't worry. I'm sure the guys at the dealer will sort you out. Let us know how you get on. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  9. Hello my inverter was done on the recall and I had no problem with it prior to that or afterwards so I can't really comment, as for the lights and warnings I've got no idea . I've had a courtesy car from Lexus Birmingham every time I've had MOT or service and so it may depend on you how long you've been a regular customer at the dealer as to how long they will give you a car for but I'm not sure about that . I know it's going to obvious but the only advice I can give you always get a warranty and unless you know of a good example of a car from a neighbour or a friend who has had one a long time and wants to sell it, always try and get one from the lexus dealer because you may pay more but you know you're getting a car that has been looked after. Just saying. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  10. That's a great review. thanks for your input and all the best with the car Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  11. Hi I have an RX 400 H and I was given the NX Sport for a courtesy car when my RX was in for the MOT I found the ride very harsh and my back was aching after a few miles in the F sport, so I would go for the Premier myself thank you Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  12. Hello looks like a nice car . Has it got the panoramic roof ? when I sat in one in the showroom, the roof seems lower than my RX400, is that the case in yours? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  13. The front parking sensors on my RX 400 were aftermarket ones and sometimes when it's been raining they give false readings because of the wet I guess. I turn them off if that happens and then activate them at a later date . seems to do the trick
  14. Hope you find out what the problem was please keep us informed if you would thanks
  15. Hi. I wouldn't do that. Mercedes are terrible. I only tried one in the showroom and the door handle almost came off in my hand. I have had Mr RX400 two years and never had a flat battery. If you must, get a RX450
  16. Hi. I have an RX 400 at the moment, and obviously I will be changing to a 450 at some point, But I must make the case for the 400 because it's a fantastic car, in my opinion is better shape than the 450 which I see is a more boxy shape. The 400 has a massive amount of room, more than enough to get my mobility scooter in the back with the hoist as well and the comfort is superb and the reliability is also first class mine is a 07 plate that now has done 82000 miles and as long as you get a good one as I have ,they will easily last you several years if not a decade or more thank you
  17. Hi. Just an update for anyone who is interested. I had a Olympian hoist put in my RX 400h and it is great. No trouble with battery drain. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  18. Hi. As Bill said in the first post, I too have noticed my battery indicator screen drop more often in the warm weather. Also three times it's gone to three purple bars and the engine then comes in to recharge. As far as I can tell it's happened when I have been circling car parks trying to find a space. Usually the indicators are blue or green and full. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  19. Hello has your phone got the latest driver software also I guess some phones are just not compatible with the Lexus system maybe that's it? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. Hello as far as I am aware Lexus Birmingham where I take my RX has always uses the red fluid and in fact I did not know there was a pink. Maybe other people will know more. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. Well done hope everything continues to be ok Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  22. Hull sounds like a very bad dealership. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. I tend to agree with Chris. Mine is 8 years old but it's fantastic, the best car I've ever had and in fact I think the shape of the 400 is better than the 450 but then again that may be because I'm a bit biased there LOL. Good luck with your repairs Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  24. Nice and posh Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
