Hi. On most RX400h you can set the temperature separately for the driver and passenger. You have to go into the climate menu and you should be able to see the settings there. Hope it helps.

Hi. I've got soft aniline leather in my RX400h and at 90,000 miles there is no degradation. As Mr Rayaan says they are bullet roof and luxurious long distance cruisers. The only thing slightly amis with mine is a slight wearing on two suspension roller arm bushes. Hope you find a nice car.

Not sure about tinting. The RX back windows are tinted as standard I believe. The LS has motorised sun shades. Maybe worth asking Lexus themselves. They have loads of accessories.

On my 2007 RX400h there is a ringing tone and if the radio is playing for instance, the radio volume will be muted when the phone is answered.

Off topic i know, but something I always wonder is, when you see another Lexus coming your way, do you wave or acknowledge them? Maybe I should start a separate thread to ask.

In time I think Lexus will be forced to go down the all-electric route as more and more manufacturers go over to completely electric cars, they will be forced to Compete. When batteries are capable of doing 300 to 400 miles a charge.. As they are probably not the far off now.

Hi. My RX400h is always serviced by Lexus Birmingham under the Essential Servicing plan. This is specifically for older cars, and they have always looked after me and are always very reasonable and customer oriented. See if you can get the Essential Servicing where you are.

Never heard of that. But you gotta be prepared to go and test drive as soon as you see the car for sale, otherwise other folks get in there first.

I see all new Lexus' have keyless entry now. Do you all take extra precautions, such as steering lock. To visibly deter a thief? I've got a RX 400h and I don't have keyless entry, but I always put on my crook lock on the steering wheel as a visual deterrent.

Looks nice. Enjoy.. I can't help with the sat nav as my ,RX is nearly ten years old, but what you need is sure to be somewhere in the menu

Fantastic example. Hope you have loads of fun. I have always fancied those, but I have a disability scooter and I doubt I could get my autochair hoist in it, so I have an RX. Could always get a second car one day. Well done.

Hi. I think all things are covered petty much in the forum already.
I have RX400h SE-L. 86000 miles.. Batteries are perfect and car has no rattles or issues whatsoever. So, if you had a good one that has been looked after you will be fine. Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

In the third generation RX450 they have adaptive cruise control on the premiere grade model, on the new RX it is on all of them I believe.
