  1. The Dark Rose looks good, how deep a colour is it in real life? Would it go with Infrared (sonic red)? Looks great with white!
  2. Thanks for the reviews guys, I've been reading more online and it's sounding like a good car indeed! As mentioned it is priced well, not sure what finance deals there are at UK dealerships. I read online that the new 10 speed is smoother and faster than the current 8 speed in the RCF GSF which is promising! I feel the 8 speed in my ISF is a bit sluggish from say 6th - 2nd on kick down, seems to stumble it's way down. From 7th to 2nd is pretty fast so hope the new 10 speed is better all round. The ISF Manual mode is super fast in any instance, is the new 10 speed the same with 100ms upshifs at WOT? I think have to bite the bullet and get a test drive if possible for the future potential purchase. Still hoping one day for that LF A V10 to filter down to an affordable car... LC F perhaps ... I Wish 😁
  3. Wow! What was was the performance and handling like compared to the ISF I am contemplating an LC500 one day. Were you impressed I left wanting more ?
  4. Thanks folks! Used yellow stuff a couple yrs ago and they were fine, just thought I'd see if these brembos were ok, I might give them a try!
  5. Hi Are these the same pads as the dealer would use? Are they recommended? Ta john
  6. Yeah! How's the exhaust is it a nice sound, any drones it 70mph ? can you let me know what parts we're ordered to allow alignment to be carried out, what symptoms were you seeing before alignment? ta
  7. Sadly it's not that, tried new bulbs, LEDs also do the same thanks for the input though, any other thoughts ?
  8. Hi Folks, I have a small issue in that the passengers door card light is dimly lit, whereas the drivers door card light is brightly lit. I probed the back of the connectors with the lights disconnected and both show a healthy 12-13v reading, when i connect the light up and probe the back of the connectors the passengers side drops to 5-6v and the light is very dim, where as the drivers side stays about the same voltage and the light is bright. Does this sound like a ground issue with the passengers side light? any help would be much appreciated. thanks John
  9. Hey not yet, been away a few weeks and not had time, will be getting service/mot soon do will be mentioned so they can look/advise if you get to it before me, do share thanks
  10. Thank you for all this info, I think I'll print out all the details and other posts regarding subframe stuff etc and speak with the technicians to see if they think they can handle the task. if you can keep me posted on any other info or adjustments you're doing that'd be great.
  11. Hi all, My car has a distinct pull to the left when driving on a flat straight road. If I let go of the steering wheel the wheel actually turns about 5 degrees left of centre and the car goes in that direction. I have to hold the steering wheel otherwise it just turns to left and car follows. Had an alignment from lexus edinburgh last year and again from another garage yesterday, Still pulls and I have to physically hold the steering wheel centre when driving. Car is 2011 IS F Attached is my alignment spec from yesterday, Is it the caster issue as this can't be adjusted? If it is what's required? Any help appreciated greatly. John
  12. My first car was a G Reg Honda Civic 1.4, next car was 97 Accord, then jumped ship to 2003 Vauxhall Astra SRi hated it in the end, went back to Honda Civic sport EP2, should've got the Type R, then 5 yrs later got the FN2 Civic Type R loved it, now the IS F -- even better! Too many BMW etc on road but do like them, but I do like Japanese cars the best!
  13. Same with me can't get any more stations, if anyone gets a resolution is be over the moon!
  14. Just a wee update... Got rears balanced at premier tyres Hamilton with their road force balancer, old weights were removed and new weights added (in a totally different position to the weights that were removed) so looks like original garage done a poor balance job?? All seems good now, so I'm happy :-) All the best for the new year everyone! John
  15. Thanks guys, it's a 2011, I'm going to move rear to front and see if the shaking changes, if the steering starts to shake I know it's probably a balance issue hopefully. I realise the wheels Are specific to each corner but if I get a front puncture the book says to move rear to front and put spare on the rear as the spare doesn't fit over the front brakes, so just to test my theory it should be ok to move the rears to front temporarily, hopefully 😄 Cheers
  16. Hi all, My car begins to shake at speeds of 85+ (I was at a track the other day) I can feel it in the seats and floor, steering wheel fine, no shakes from that. Now, it was doing this before I got new rear tyres last week, so is it possible the new tyres aren't balanced right, or perhaps something else? I might move rears to front to see if there's any difference. Just hoping someone can give me info on why it starts at such a high speed? Up to 70 seems ok, could it be something other than the tyres/wheels?
  17. I took the wheels off and scrubbed the tyres thoroughly and cleaned the wheels themselves also, I then applied 3 coats with the wheel flat on the ground and this meant no runs at all!
  18. No splatter with this stuff it dries totally dry and shiny 😄
  19. Tried this today, yielded good results, will see how it lasts! http://tufshine.com/tire_shine_kit.html Bought from www.cleanyourcar.com
