  1. There has been much discussion on Michelin Latitude HP Tour's on the RX thread, and how much people like them - me included. They have a M&S marking also. It would be interesting to hear thoughts on their winter suitability...
  2. Yes, the SE-L has air suspension ( like my old Soarer did ).
  3. £60 total - for a PROPER job.
  4. Just had my air con serviced - took about an 1 1/4 hours. Fascinating to watch how it's done. And now feel ready for the Summer. ( Richard Bell from AutoAirCon did it - really pleased with his time keeping, attitude and price )
  5. The 2nd is sold now I think? Consider eBay too - but trust your instincts! And maybe ring round Lexus dealers, who have taken in a P/X?
  6. PS. Check the tyres.. you wants LOTS of tread left on them, and check their dates too. ( You can read off the 4 digit number on their sides )
  7. I would check... Does it have a Reversing camera - I suspect not. I think it's mandatory. Cam belt change? - I suspect not too. The colour? I suspect it's platinum ice, not 'sterling silver'? Just says to me - they don't know a Lexus. Agree that the rear sensors look 'odd'. Looks nice visually...
  8. Is the DVD a European region? Does that make a difference?
  9. Thank you. All the comments are very helpful. PCM
  10. I really don't like the Grill ... and for me it looks rather generic. But I am sure it's lovely!
  11. Anyone had their RX serviced at Lexus MK (Milton Keynes)? If you have, how was it? Would you recommend? :)
  12. PS. I think it's way over priced for what it is... and still for sale ( I wonder if that also tells a story? )
  13. ... and don't have winters on just 2. It's 4 or nothing.
  14. Congratulations. ( I had a Supra too - nice car - big tyres )
  15. Has anyone had the issue whereby they have to guess when the sunroof is completely closed, i.e., is does not seal automatically? I've seen this as a possible solution? To normalize, push and hold the 'slide' switch toward the front. The sunroof will tilt (even though you are using the 'slide' switch) up and down then slide open and close. After it closes, release the switch. The sunroof will now work normally (i.e. it will know where it's supposed to close when you use the switches).
  16. I always have to remind myself that the ONLY thing between me and the road are the tyres. If in doubt, swap them out.
  17. I would say tyres too. I had similar. New tyres. Problem disappeared for me ...
  18. I LIKE the Red. Does it have Air Suspension? Not that it matters - just wondered.
  19. An old thread but fascinating to read, as an SE-L owner too...
  20. Why not go for a test drive? Having other options may put you in a better negotiating position? ( I see the tiny camera lens at the back from the photos. Quite like the colour too )
  21. Looks nice. Get the 12 months Lexus warranty and maybe negotiate for more years - two? Check the tyres - they can be overlooked... Tread depth. When was it - will it be serviced? MOT? i.e., immediate costs to you - or them.
  22. I've read that you can ask a Lexus Service Centre for a print out(?) of all Lexus Servicing that has taken place on a car? Is this true - has anyone done it? :hocus-pokus:
  23. Can anyone confirm, please - in a 2003/2004 RX SEL, there are 3 12v sockets? ( 2 in the front and one in the back ? ) Regards.
