  1. Hi, I had this issue, and when on closer inspection both back boxes had rusted right through (1 completely). 5 minutes later we removed them in their rusty entirety - sounded delightful with intermittent backfires, etc. Lexus prices to replace were (as you can imagine) 'well priced' so we opted for the Borla full cat-back system from RR Racing which does away with the pesky back boxes. Only time I've been thankful for bad rust lol
  2. Sorry to hijack the thread but this is exactly what happened to me - incorrect wheel ordered by the repair shop. Now I have 3 correct + 1 incorrect wheel.... until I can get a decent offer for them and I can then slap on a set of lighter aftermarket rims Having said that, it certainly doesn't have a negative impact on performance...lol
  3. If it's of interest I have the RR Racing carbon quad tip Magnaflow upgrade for Borla full system shipped from US with zero drone, and the K&N typhoon kit (Demon Tweeks). Excellent combo in my opinion however, still to dyno to see results. Not much louder than stock until you give it some beans... then it sounds insane. Low RPM sound effects from the K&N are enough to make a grown man smirk. Just try and get the exhaust shipped as a gift or warranty item so FedEx don't fleece you with Duty & VAT ....
  4. Keep all the goodies intact, but they could fit a supercharger... I'll have 1 in the matt grey for me please
  5. Correct! Just to find them at a half-sensible price
  6. Ok, so after much nail biting we've located the 1 and only key... phew! Now to research some of the above options to prevent anymore tears. Thanks for all your input chaps.
  7. Thanks guys. No warranty, or key cover unfortunately. No valet key either....
  8. Needless to say, the one and only key to the ISF I had has vanished. Besides recruiting a car thief, is paying a small fortune to Lexus my only option...? Thanks.
  9. Hi, noticed there's some Magnaflow high flow CATS for the ISF on eBay UK if it helps at all. All the best with the new set up!
  10. Lexus Edinburgh - about 50 minutes from where I live. Sales rep has promised me a demo RCF for a day or so... we'll see if that happens or not!
  11. Zero damage to mine, you wouldn't even know it had been done. Well, I'm hoping they've done the work lol... Car was collected and dropped back off the same day.

Thanks Steve, I'll have a look around locally as I'm a fair hike away from you. Cheers, Mark
  13. Result! Lexus called me back and they're organising a demo car to be dropped off! Albeit I think I'd rather retain the option of an intact face and new airbag...
  14. Just had the recall phone call to get the ISF booked in - requested a RCF as a courtesy car
  15. I've just fitted these last week, along with the RR Racing coilovers.... not impressed albeit I'm inclined to think it's the coilovers that have ruined the ride, not the USRS. Car is going back in next week to try and adjust the dampers to a setting a bit less like a slammed Honda Civic... On the positive side, steering response and turn in is a lot sharper which is part of the USRS's task. Hopefully you guys get a good result and I'll be interested to get some good feedback.

To suit OEM 2010 wheels/nuts. Thanks,
  17. 6 years and counting, going in for her 60k service today c/w coilovers, Borla exhaust, etc...
  18. Not a bad defect IMHO I'll check the Bison R variety out... mod funds have taken a bit of an ISF beating though lol! Thanks for the advice on the drop, might take a few attempts to get it right.
  19. Yes Peter, those are indeed the ones. Hoping to drop the car slightly with these as well. I'll try and get some decent pics shortly, plus some feedback on the mods On the lookout for decent carbon or gloss black front & rear diffusers as well, but most quality ones seem pretty expensive... Think I was born with the mod bug already installed...
  20. Good stuff, thanks Pete. I must admit, your car is the finest looking this side of the pond Current mods on mine are:- custom remap, K&N typhoon & custom rear exhaust section/silencers. Goodies just arrived from Simon & Rafi are:- USRS, AOS, new spec RR Racing coilovers (fast road setup), and full Borla exhaust with hi-flow initial cats, 2nd cat delete and carbon fibre tips. Can't wait for the results/looks/noise/handling & ride improvements. Then hopefully before year end I'm getting a full paint correction, new rims & tyres c/w fancy lug nuts
  21. Cheers Pete, The kamispeed lug nut range is very tempting! Also, I'm guessing you're on coilovers... did you have to roll the arches to avoid them rubbing the tyres? My RR racing delivery has arrived so good times ahead lol. Thanks, Mark
  22. Pete, mind if I ask what wheels and lug nuts you'll be running? Looking forward to seeing the final finish... Thanks,
