  1. That's why I said it was ok, not that it was recommended. It is still mentioned in owner's handbook and if one is of a mind to get the greatest mileage from a set... Personally I feel rotating tyres exposes tyres to an initial greater wear rate as tread experiences different forces.
  2. Not on the Lexus (yet) but on my Merc I ran winter tyres and it does make a big difference in grip levels, especially when temps drop and you get a little frost on the roads.
  3. Rotating tyres to even out the wear is ok (as long as they are not directional or staggered set-up) but one should always have the better tread depth on the rears. So in your case I'd leave as is. Better still invest is a set of winter wheels and tyres?
  4. Good looking car, I particularly like the look of the rear quarter.. Regarding the noise, possibly a wheel bearing, worn or in need of adjustment?
  5. My understanding is that if there isn't an option in the Setup menu, then the beam pattern is flat and doesn't require adjustment for European driving
  6. What's so special about this particular example, that you go to such lengths? Surely there must be cars out there finance free?

  8. Interesting, in what way can't the hybrid components cope with higher speeds?
  9. Why? The RC300h is electronically limited to 119 for economy reasons.
  10. From the 2016 RC300h handbook "Switching to EV drive mode when the gasoline engine is cold If the hybrid system is started while the gasoline engine is cold, the gasoline engine will start automatically after a short period of time in order to warm up. In this case, you will become unable to switch to EV drive mode. After the hybrid system has started and the “READY” indicator has illuminated, press the EV drive mode switch before the gasoline engine starts to switch to EV drive mode." Don't know if it's the same for your '15 IS300?
