  1. Hi Matt, Any noticeable difference with the over sized tyres?
  2. Sorry lads cant make this weekend now. Going upto Manc to watch the game and the fight on Sat night!
  3. Looks like the old Toyota Camrys ? I remember my uncle had a V6 GXI one
  4. Yeah I recently had a go in a early model boxster with the 2.7 engine and 5 speed box. You had to work the engine but it's felt really good and sounded great. The feedback through the steering was fantastic made the isf feel a bit numb. Having the roof down was great.
  5. Not bad at all Mark, mines going in this month 88k so lets see.
  6. I've got a porsche itch. Fancy a gen 2 cayman S.
  7. Which join does it blow from ? have you got just the back boxes or the mid section as well?
  8. Cheers Mark exactly what I was after and as I suspected my top mounts need to be turned 90 degrees on both sides. The coloured markings need to point to the left wheel and right wheel respectively. Bit difficult to see the markings on yours but if you zoom in you can just make out a yellow paint dot and a blue paint dot. Regarding the clips I have got a bag full in my glove box, I can post some out to you mate no probs, just PM me your address.
  9. First one to post a pic of their top mounts I will buy them some cake at the next meet. Xx
  10. We should arrange a bit of a road trip like this. Would be emmense.
  11. Bought discs and Pads from euros for all my cars. I also rate the Pagid stuff as well had them on previous M3s and R32s no issues. They sell the Pagids for the ISF too.
  12. Regarding the lumpy idle try taking out your MAF and spraying it with some MAF cleaner. Let it dry naturally. Also run some good quality fuel additive through the car.
  13. Had mine fitted all round brembo from euros. No issues.
  14. Hi guys can someone preferably with an early isf on standard suspension do me a favour please? Take the left and right side covers off in the engine bay to reveal the the suspension top mounts. Can you tell me what direction the marks on top of the mounts are facing both left and right. A picture would be great. Looking at the Haynes manual they need to face outwards to the left and right wheel respectively. There should be two paint marks. http://workshop-manuals.com/lexus/is_f/v8-5.0l_(2ur-gse)/steering_and_suspension/suspension/suspension_strut/shock_absorber/component_information/service_and_repair/front_shock_absorber/page_6425/ I've replaced my shocks and think mine are not facing the correct way. Thanks
  15. So got round to ordering a set of replacement Bilstein B6 dampers for my 2008 ISF. Pic attached showing one front damper and one rear next to the OE dampers. Same lenght and spring perches all same hight. Just need transfer springs and mounts onto the Billys. Current BC coils will be coming off and these going on. Just not getting on with the coils, not suited to my driving and too stiff although the handling was massively improved over stock. Hoping the B6s with OE springs will hit the sweet spot.
  16. Thats a great price, cant see it hanging around.
  17. I went from standard to USRS's. I can confirm it does not make the car twitchy, improves feel makes the steering more accurate. However you loose some of the road isolation that the standard bushes provide, so you feel more of the road through the wheel.
