  1. Actually I asked Lexus and was told that yes, price will be comparable to the LC and around the £75k mark
  2. Has anyone noticed that Lexus changed the LC500h sprint time from "under 5 sec" to "under 4.5 sec" ? LC 500h Discover the world’s first Multi Stage Hybrid Transmission with the LC 500h - a new benchmark for hybrid performance. Power, response and efficiency without compromise. 3.5L V6 petrol engine World's first 10-speed Multi Stage Hybrid transmission Powerful electric motor with Lithium-ion battery pack 0-100km/h in under 4.5 seconds https://www.lexus.eu/car-models/lc/lc-500/#CrossModelComparison If that is the case, that is an impressive 3.5 litres hybrid engine . Imagine it in the GS450H
  3. thanks for the nice pics and hope you will enjoy your new car Can you please advise what is the real life autonomy? How may miles in one full charge and how many hours needs charging in the garage please? Also does it fit/enter the usual garage?
  4. Should we hope that the new LS will have similar price?
  5. How odd. Although this is supposingly a new article, there are 3 years old comments at the end of the page...
  6. was having a look at the really amazing new LS. any idea how much this will cost?
  7. Had it for 3 years and more than 30K miles. absolutely beautiful car, go and get it!
  8. I had an excellent experience from a 3 years trouble free quality motoring with a GS250. It is good value as well, so I highly recommend it, just try to get an example with the big screen ML system
  9. Since you requested us to talk you out, can you please advise regarding your budget and mileage? Remember that the LS460 mpg can be surprisingly low as the engine is quite thirsty.
  10. they exist and are called BMW's That been said, soon enough this type of technology on board will be available by all cars, as they will all connect to the mobile phone and its apps. Not forgetting the self driving cars either that will soon be a game changer in the industry Considering this, Reliability and Brand appeal will become again the most important sales point
  11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xis200+1999+Suspension+arm+synthetic+bush.TRS0&_nkw=is200+1999+Suspension+arm+synthetic+bush&_sacat=0 would that link help?
  12. it does make a difference in the longevity of the implant, but as long as you are happy, thats OK for now
  13. fair point. Nevertheless I would consider 6 previous owners since 2009 - Option 1 - 09 ISF with flsh, 100k on the clock, 6 previous owners for around 15k - a bit excessive and suspicious
  14. Had a GS250 from new for 3 years and 35k miles. Absolutely amazing quality, never even heard a rattle, ever. Think about this model as well before deciding your next Lexus
  15. that's interesting, thanks for the info. is that on a PCP or cash? If PCP what is the rate?
  16. HUD and panoramic views are both well worth having. You will understand how much so, if you use them for a month and then own a vehicle without them. the blindspot sensors not much so in my view. the ones in the GS I had were not that accurate and I do not miss them
  17. looks like an excellent choice. Have you thought of buying it new? you will find that with a couple of thousands deposit you will end up paying £300 a month for 3 years, probably better net present value than 13K cash for a 3+years old used
  18. but without the mark levinson at basic price in any case, I still think that the LS is vastly overpirced ( the GS as well but less so) and CT a bargain ( costs less than the auris hybrid spec for spec!) We can also see that when comparing the LS and the 7 series real life prices
  19. Hi Nemesis, merry christmas. In UK you can buy 3 and a half CT with the cost of one LS, in the USA only two and a third. thats why I think the pricing is odd, as if they are not interested in selling more luxury cars, they reach the target and thats it! Perhaps has to do with the spare parts inventory ( CT has tons of common parts with Auris, so it is cheaper to support). But wouldn't be nicer if LS costed £50K rather than £72K. That is the price it should have, if you compare it with the 7Series for instance that is more expensive than the LS in the USA.
  20. https://www.truecar.com/prices-new/lexus/ As you can see, in comparison to the USA market, GS is overpriced, LS is massively operpriced but good old CT is a bargain (or actually properly priced) Any idea why is Lexus doing this? Don't they want to sell more cars? I love the brand and bought the CT - and had to use carwow to get a good deal - for my wife but when I had to replace my GS250, went to BMW because of the marked difference in pricing strategy CT is a bargain though!
  21. Lexus Μanchester and now Bolton as the Manchester branch isnow closed Good falks, no problem there. yes they are trying to make a profit and I am trying to save some hard earned ones but that is how capitalism works.
  22. Generally I would avoid cars with many previous owners, especially if the mileage per owner is low, as this raises suspicions for something going wrong with the car that is difficult to identify on first inspection
  23. @steve2006 qualified race driver for the LS600h? why would that be so? Nice car but race car?
