  1. If it's was me i would want to see what components have been replaced or wear, ie brake disc with that millage you don't want to be paying out for replacements so soon after purchase
  2. Ed not sure you'll need winter tyre's with these cross climates unless you do thousands of miles in the snow
  3. The snow finally came today, So the hospital run was a good test for the new cross climates. No issues up the hills, even from standing start, could feeling them slipping but i was starting to push the pace, maybe i was getting to confident with them.
  4. After sitting in snowy stationery traffic today i tried the voice recognition after reading Chris' s French lesson, i think I should of put into French as it didn't understand me in English
  5. I also came from honda and have chosen NX The honda has a very strong engine which I admit takes some beating, I was finding it hard to use that power as the roads are so busy. It was time to change and I loved the look of the NX and some of the extra refinement especially the comfort when driving. Deep down I loved my old honda's, the NX is just over 10 weeks old with me, I love the look but yet to fully appreciate it
  6. The next few days will be a test for them, only had mine on less than a week and as yet we've had hardly any snow to test them.
  7. So today I've had fitted two new Michelin cross-climates on the front, the road noise has been really reduced and the ride quality seems better, the grip was always going to feel better as my old tyre's were as good as slicks
  8. Dan I've a copy of the fitting instructions if you want to see how difficult they're to fit yourself if your in to diy
  9. Just ordered a front pair of michelin cross climates £149 a tyre
  10. Towbar, I'm sure I read somewhere the NX has towing restrictions depending on model It was something to do with the draw the torque (kilo-newtons) it can't maintain the pull that sort of thing? Sorry I can't tell you more it was a while back
  11. The NX has the look of presents over the infiniti The infiniti has some good toys but you need all the comparisons spec level V's spec level etc I didn't like the white leather seats it looks far better in black
  12. Interesting reading might just give sport mode a 10 week run instead of normal mode
  13. Yeah they're slicks Paul just waiting for stock to arrive
  14. In ECO Ive averaged 34.2 in the last 10 weeks Next I'll put her normal and see what I get
  15. That's sounds a good service plan, is a three year plan @rayaans And another question do you know if that's available at any dealership
  16. @bluenose1940 Here's the fitting instructions, I can't attach the PDF from my tablet. I could email it to you if you want
  17. Went to blenheim palace today what a day? crap event and nearly crap all over the car but the side steps actually kept the loads of mud of the car,. As I was driving away all i could hear was the mud splattering everywhere but when I got home not much mud had gone over the car, So that was my chance for a quick clean
  18. I was looking at taking mine off @bluenose1940 But when I saw the fitting instructions with all the holes that need drilling and treating I've decided against that for a while I did see on this site an instruction guide on installation for side steps
  19. I've had the pain of sciatica for many a year and changing to an auto saved me more in chiropractor bills and a lot less in the back pains That was mainly in saloon cars now i've gone to the NX as it's far easier getting in and out and again I'm hoping to stretch out the chiropractor even more, £45 a session for 30 minutes isn't cheap
  20. The previous service plan I had with Honda, I had to ring Honda to cancel the direct debits and they refunded me what I had paid extra since my last service which came in at a very useful £130
  21. Thanks Sean, that's really interesting and to be fair a really good idea by Lexus
  22. I'm looking to set up a service plan generally it's cheaper plus you don't forget then to service your car? My nearest is 26 miles away These are Coventry and Milton Keynes, Swindon is another 10 more miles on top. I don't which to pick? So what experiences have any of you had at any of the Lexus centres?
  23. I've got my multicar with aviva, always found it cheaper if her car was the main and mine the second, even with me the older of the two and bigger engine. Also when I switched cars to my nx I could go online enter in the details and they gave me switch quote instantly before I purchased. OK may not be the cheapest and nor most expensive but the extra benefits are worth it in the event off Forgot to say I've used admiral previously and aviva were cheaper
  24. Which tyre fitting company did you use Alec and Martin?
