  1. Hello I would recommend the DENSO one because that is the OEM radiator.(Denso company guarantees its products) Of course we have the choice, but keep in mind that this will be for your own car. As you can see in the link above, there is no name available for the producer. At the end it is your choice what you use on your car. Cheers
  2. Usually all websites have "cookies" so basically either you set up your browser to clean up everything at exit, either you have a proxy that filters them. In both cases you need to manually agree those terms every time you enter on this site.
  3. BTW - do not think to use it under win 10 64 bit version. Yes you could do that eventually, after many hours spent to tune up the windows, So i suggest to do like i did - i took an old I5 computer- i downgraded to win7 32 bit version and all good. Currently i am using windows 7 32 bit version (yes it does matter if it is 32 or 64 - please choose 32 ) and all works flawless.
  4. Agree with Mihanicos. Very likely your 12 v battery from under the hood is either depleted or dead. 1st check the voltage to be more then 12V. If not, use a charger to bring back battery to 12.5V. If after that still got those 2 blinking, then for sure you need to use the diagnostic software - Techstream. But i am 90% that this is from 12V battery.
  5. sorry mate I was talking about real auto parts search engines. Ebay is more like a global platform - they are not pro on spare parts. You should consult winparts.eu - a Dutch company for example.(due to Brexit i suggest you should use some UK search engine) Using Ebay as a search engine you will find car parts posted there by private owners.
  6. I do the same. Leaving climate controlling system on automatic all the time, keeps the system prepared all the time. So yeah, i suggest you do the same
  7. Basically if you own RX400h then yes, your manufacturing year will be 2008. So yes you should use your VIN for parts searching engine, that will return exact matches for what you are looking for
  8. Hello Since RX400h was produced between 2003 and 2008. Of course many of them were registered only in 2009. That doesn't make them from 2009. That is the reason any part searching engine(program) will show you latest year of manufacture as 2008
  9. What you mean by "two" ? Two at the same time ? How you fitted them into the satnav cables ?
  10. About that...i was thinking to mount somewhere on the lower part of the boot 2xCree led for having real reversing lights ...cause as you said earlier - w/o them camera is useless.
  11. Hello On the other hand, that error also appears in the case signaled by Lexus, for which they made service recalls starting with 2003, when they discovered the error on the motherboard of the hybrid system inverter. I definitely recommend reading the errors with Techstream.
  12. Hi there As I see it, no one has installed on the audio system Mark & Levinson an USB adapter. Well i did it personally so i would recommend it to all members who drive a RX400H. The Y cable needed around 25 euro : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Y-Adapter-Compatible-with-Toyota-since-2004-MP3-CD-Changer-Satnav-Radio-Small/191969914080?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Electronic box needed around 55 £ : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Yatour-USB-SD-Aux-MP3-Adapter-for-Toyota-Lexus-Corolla-Avensis-Highlander-Car/284110172516?hash=item4226493164:g:WhcAAOSwbd5eqVa- I did the installation myself, so I didn't need assistance. On the other subject, regarding the petrol consumption / 100km, I mounted on the RX400h LPG system, so running on LPG I cover 100km(62 miles) with 5.5 £, that would be around 8p/mile.
  13. For sure you gained some moisture in the cables. As i said earlier you must change the whole cable later when you have mood and time for that. This recent situation pointed out to cables (because you had signal from camera) So the only thing left is : cable 🙂
  14. For sure you need a Techstream diagnose. We wish you luck above all. Cheers
  15. That's how it is. I told him how to re-learn each window. I recommend doing the same with each window. But for that to use the button located on each door. Do not use the central control located on the driver's door. 100% you will solve the problem. You must relearn all comfort after the battery terminal was taken off. I do it every time when i take off my battery terminal.
  16. So basically what are you saying is : non driver window opens from it's switch but not from driver's side switch ? 1st you wanna try to go on passenger side switch and lower the window, then when you get it up , after the window is closed you keep the switch to up position 3 more seconds. That should relearn the passenger side window back to comfort mode ECU. If it doesn't work keep me posted. I will try to search in RX400 service manual.
  17. Hello Piers. I had the same situation on my older car. What I did was exactly as Colin told you: I checked the wire coming from the tailgate to the ecu and found out that the wire is the problem of losing the video signal. What have I done ? I just took 5 meters of new cable from a store and replaced the entire wire starting from the camera and ending in the ECU. Remember that the insulation of the wires are made of plastic which, like rubber, cracks prematurely. And .... the water did the rest of the work 🙂
  18. BTW IIIogan, i would love to have some more details about what solar top-up panel you used. Kindly appreciated some info , some model, even some photos if you have. Cheers
  19. Good morning. Isn't it easier to try at a car dismantling workshop? Maybe you can find an RX400h and take the main fuse directly. At least that's what I would do.
  20. hmm, you're right. At my company we have a ford focus S turbo (petrol) I assume it has the same engine as yours and that's right: it has no good consumption at all.
  21. MPG is the result of your driving style. So, of course, if you touch it lightly, you will get a better MPG compared to the driving style in sport mode. I can also say that compared to the RX300 it has a much improved consumption due to the hybrid part, not to mention the silence.
  22. Hi guys Not that i should be some pro on Lexus, but i noticed some vibration on my Lexus around 80-90km/h then if the speed exceed 110km/h it kinda disappear. When I put each wheel on the balancing machine, there were no errors - it didn't have to put much lead for balancing. However, I was curious and I asked the specialist if, for example, the aluminum rim of the car would suffer a serious hit, say from a pit or a roadside, and there would be a fine deviation in the aluminum structure, would this deviation appear at balance? His answer was "no - because the rim was hit on the whole surface and being a small deviation it is not felt on the balancing device but on the way you will feel it" So I swapped the wheel with the spare one, on the side where I could feel the vibration and then surprise .... the vibration stopped . Conclusion: aluminum wheels will suffer over time deformations from roads that are transmitted in the form of vibrations. It doesn't have to be the same problem with your car, but honestly it's much cheaper to test this hypothesis than to go to a service to waste time and money. Cheers
