  1. welcome, well done, you made the right choice. 23-25 mpg is easily obtainable, you will have no trouble getting this from your motor, good luck Roger
  2. Got a registered delivery letter yesterday (Sat) telling me my RX300 needs a visit to the dealer re a brake light issue. Apparently the brake lights may fail to activate although "no cases in the UK have been known". A new switch needs to be fitted. Mine is an 04 SE (Aug). Wondered if anybody else got one?
  3. dazzab69, you need to READ THIS and then afterwards READ THIS it sounds like your having much the same trouble as a few of us. RxMike has done more to find a cure than the rest of us put together, haven't tried it yet myself, waiting for a spell of decent weather at the weekend, Good Luck Roger.
  4. I had a E class before my Lex, and my mirrors didn't retract automatically, had to press button on console!

  6. In answer to your question, No, the RX300 does NOT have self locking doors, I miss them too, had them on my old E class Merc, the RX has a switch on the door by the electric window switches for locking all the doors but I forget to use it more often than not
  7. Arsenal/Man U being awarded a penalty at 5pm on a Saturday when every other game in the country has been over for at least 10 mins!!!! Roger Chelsea fan (AND I supported them when they were crap!!)
  8. Just wanted to add my condolences, hope you get it back
  9. Thanks very much RxMike, am definatley going to try it, will let you know the outcome. Regards Roger
  10. Thanks for the update RXMike, mine is still the same, I'll wait for your update before I rip my battery leads off!! Cheers Roger.
  11. As your in the US, try Here for a mark I or Here for a mark II
  12. Thanks for the help, Made a slight error the Mondeo psi's, 41 not 45 when loaded, I have had many cars that have much higher pressure with 3+ people and luggage, it's always more on the rear than the front though as in the Mondeo's 31 all round, then with a load it's 35 front and as I said 41 rear. It seems the RX has the same pressure regardless of the load on board, just really wanted my mind put at rest that there wasn't an ommision in the manual. Cheers, Roger.
  13. This may have been answered before but I couldn't find it. Should the tyre pressure be increased when fully loaded with people and luggage! No where in the manual or on the 'B' pillar is there any reference to increasing pressure from the normal 32psi (RX300SE 18in wheels). Every other car I have ever owned recommends an increase with 3+ people on board. My wife's Mondeo go from 31 to 45 on the rear for example. Any advice greatly appreciated as always. Roger.
