  1. Welcome & Congratulations Tony :D May you have years of happy Lexi ownership ahead
  2. As Steve says Ebay, Autotrader or another good one to try is Pistonheads, or sign up for Gold here :D All prices are down so I guess it's all still relevant on a buy/sell basis ;)
  3. (If I have read your 'grump' right) There are settings down the left hand side which show up when you are on 'new/latest' posts which you can change to suit how you view new content ....... I discovered them after finding that posts I had replied to weren't showing up :o, thought there was something wrong but all I needed to do was change it suit :D
  4. Seach is top right along the 'banner bar' next to Forums & Media Library :winky:
  5. It's not you Janet, I have a feeling things aren't quite right with it as I've just clicked on your post within 'new content) and it took me to the IS200/300 forum the I had to again click on your post As I've said to Steve in his latest post (which now seems to not be on the list of latest posts for some reason) - hopefully it can all be sorted and easily useable again soon
  6. Nooooooo don't go Steve - personally I'm not mad on it either There must be some settings somewhere that can be altered to make it more friendly ..... I'll yell Steve (amin) and see what can be done
  7. Happy Christmas Boys & Girls, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a superb New Year :D
  8. Only place that seems to list them is TDi .. link here that is I'm presuming you have the TTE charger
  9. Hey Neil :D Glad to hear you've still got the IS
  10. I think a lot of the trouble is is that people think because the plate means something to them or relates to what the car is that it's worth stupid amounts of money and it's amazing how many you see as you say with screws put in to make up a name etc Though saying that there are some pretty good ones about which haven't been altered and suit the car perfectly. I guess it's all down to personal taste and if you want to spend ££££'s on a plate that makes up your name then go for it :D We've got 'personalised' plates on the company vehicles which all relate to the company name or type of work we do which definitely helps to get the company recognised. The old IS200 had L3XEE and my Vitz has V11TSY, and the bB has a B8 reg, though we have never paid more than the cheapest DVLA rate for any of them :winky:
  11. Congratulations & welcome to the joys of Lexus ownership Thomas :D I'm glad you are enjoying the thoughts of 'exclusivity' :D
  12. Afraid not Jamie group buy is now closed as said by Jason here
  13. Worth having a look in the classified section which is here or the for sale section here :D
  14. I'm guessing the travel on your suspension isn't accommodating the new size wheels or it could be the arches themselves catching - are the 19's a bit wide than your previous wheels ? Check on the outer edge of the tyre and the arch and see if you have any marking, if you have then it maybe an idea to look at getting the arches rolled which would remedy the problem :D
  15. Your best bet for advertising it would probably be Pistonheads classifieds - link here basic adverts are free :D There's not too much help/ideas on price, though there's a couple on ebay ranging from £1,850 to 2,995
  16. Personally I'd go for the Mintex - they are highly rated amongst 'those in the know', in fact I got told off for buying EBC greens rather than Mintex
  17. Hi & welcome TJ :D There's quite a few members from Ireland here so hopefully they will come out of the woodwork & say hello :winky:
  18. janey

    Im Back

Ahh Mr Fargo ....how we have all missed you :winky: :D
  19. As Dave said other European countries adjust limits to road/weather conditions, plus there are certain sections of M-way where lorries/trailers/caravans can't overtake or in places even go in the 2nd lane on a 3 lane road, and I think unless they bring in those kind of rules here and drivers stick to them having a higher limit will just end up in more carnage. Though I think the main fact why the limit shouldn't be upped here is down to the fact that the French/Germans/Dutch actually know how to use the road properly unlike 99% of the idiots on the m-way's here ;)
  20. Hi & welcome, yes there are a few Altezza owners about but I'm guessing they're all on holiday at the mo,(I would put a 'whistling' smiley here but they seems to have disappeared) Maybe an intro post in the 'new members' section will help as not everyone looks at specific model sections all the time ;-)
  21. I think it all went when the boards were upgraded Chris
  22. To be perfectly honest I have no idea why it's only allowing you to upload one photo ..... best bet would be to pm Steve and hopefully he can go through the technical stuff with you - link here for his profile to send a message to him :)
