I would have thought the same TTE200?? So there are hidden costs that they should have corrected?? It makes no sense at all, other than these s/c units have been in storage, produced ages ago and sat around. So TTE cant be assed to recall?? Why are they unreliable? Need some comments from Prolex and TDI since they stock them and can answer all my questions fully.

The contours of the body. The fact its a lexus. Not common. Luxurious and comfortable. Reliable(so far after 2000miles only lol!). When its S/C'd i will also have 200+bhp on tap!!!

Now guys i am lost with all this ecu business?? I take it a 'piggyback ecu' is needed to run the s/c correctly? Can someone please shed some light on the subject. I have read through the posts that this black tte ecu had some bother as far as i am led to believe (is this the one that comes with the kit?) and a silver tte ecu replacement is needed. What is the difference and is it really required? (something to do with RPM limiter by any chance?) Which is best to have out of all the choices that tdi mentions(HKS, APEXI etc? and the costs). Just looking for a definitive answer and to know as much as possible on the entire s/c route. Dont want to be unaware of hidden costs involved as i hope you understand. :winky:

TDI offer the TTE s/c kit for £2200 as advertised on their site. Is this without VAT and postage, this the only thing i can think of?? Whats the point in the GB at £2400 from pro-lex if it is indeed £2200inc? Can someone please clarify?

It does make life a little easier in traffic with the snow button on. As for fuel consumption i dont really know.

Well other than look like they are doing their job, no it aint a trick question. Ever noticed how they wont attempt to interfere with certain folk? I dont know if its the same round all your neck of the woods but there are, lets say certain 'collections' of ppl who they never dare approach round here.

I have them in the roof and gives the effect but it is very poor lighting compared to stock. Might try mr morse out very soon.

PIAA, but they are costly. Next best thing after HID's. Way better compared to phillips.

Dont get me wrong i like the 325ci, 330ci and M3smg but i have always liked the is200 and chose it over the 325ci sport coupe. I havent had an issue with mine at all other than lack of grunt. Too many BM's on the road as well, ten a penny i say. Maybe you just got a bad is300. Better luck with the Bimmer

Woodsy there is a Group buy being organised at the moment on the supercharger, check it out. All this talk of problems and warrantee issues has me quite bothered about buying the s/c. Can mat and however else let us know about their experiences etc and whether the headache is worth it?

I have drilled and grooved on the front and grooved on the back, Black diamond discs. Absolutely fine no complaints at all.

I am with el gencer on the fitting bit as i would need someone competent to either do it or help me. The most i have done is change all the bulbs to PIAA and the fogs proved to be a pain in the *****!!
