  1. Hell No! Although in some extenuating circumstances, i may consider... lol I'd advertise CAR SECURITY and my own ventures, but thats all.
  2. lol. Call me "Boring" if you wish, but i've not and will not experiment with those sorts of things. A bit of alcohol is alright though, as long as you're not driving. Anyway, back to the point. I have this reoccuring dream of actually OWNING a Lexus. LOL. Surely this is me being able to look into the future?! :D
  3. Americans are famous for over exaggerating things... for example, the most recent by Microsoft's release of MSN7 on the 7th of April at 7am GMT which released with build 7.0.777 and download size of 7mb! okay so i'm a little but you get the idea how americans always like to make things "look good", lol.
  4. and what are the chances of a TV program being BS? you must realise that TV programmes are meant purely as entertainment. Even serious shows such as documentaries. ← Perfect example of creditable stations airing such hoaxes. Is Ghost-watch on BBC1 in 1992. I watched this with my dad on Halloween of 1992. That night i came down with high fever and became very ill for the weeks following. The phrase used in my sickness was "Frightened to Death". Yes i was young, i was only 10, but it just shows you that not everything on TV should be believed, no matter how creditable the broadcasters. *** SORRY Tried to post the link but i can't as the words "Ghost" and "Watch" when combined to form a single word, contains a banned word *** For those who saw it, you will know and remember well what i am referring to!?
  5. Could you not legally have "demanded" that something be resolved about the matter within a period of time, as the road on which you drove was not safe, and as a result has caused you unnecessary expenses and wasted alot of your time! Why is it that we as vehicle owners must maintain our vehicles to satisfy the MOT test and keep other road users and pedestrians safe, but the roads themselves cannot keep our cars safe! (Corrupted, deceiptful and two-faced is my gut feeling) *Do not mean to offend anyone who works for the council, local authority, or government!*
  6. Just out of curiosity, would it be illegal to perform a hoax, whereby an entire country, or group of countries, were fooled into believing a certain "fact"??? Dont worry, i haven't done anything.... yet
  7. no such thing as deja vu its just a glitch in the matrix ← Speaking of the Matrix / Dreams / Telepathy, I have since wondered is what we see really the truth??? Maybe we DO live in a Matrix world, and we are all just pre-programmed to do these menial tasks as human beings. This is all pretty serious by the way. I have had many an hour wade away with simple thoughts of : "What is REALITY?" I dont believe I have found a definitive answer for this question, and always find myself returning to try and solve the conundrum. The closest I have come, is by estimating that Reality is in fact a distortion of "The Matrix". Just my brain still ticking away...
  8. Niraj, Dr Evil is a professional psychiatrist ;) as in "makes a living from being a psychiatrist" :winky: ← Haha, thanks for the warning. Could have made a fool of myself if i had posted an entire lot of gibberish, or is it too late for that ? I've never studied Psychology, but always had a keen interest in all those things. Derren Brown is great at what he does! I believe that the brain is the most powerful machine in the world. If we could harness it's true power, we could all be (while i search for a better word) GODS!
  9. I've just had a small discussion with my manager at work, regarding this topic. He is very clued up on alot of things, and has given me a psychological perspective on things. I will have to think through how to write it out on here, but it is sure to be interesting. Fidgits, that scientific POV was amazing. Being an ICT Administrator for my company, the scan disk metaphor was spot on. Enjoyed reading that! :)
  10. so how about dreams? i'd like to hear some stories of things that have come true after seeing them in a dream... can't think of the word but there's a special word for this kind of thing... "seeing into the future" etc... i went through a phase where i used to get real bad dreams (nightmares) it lasted for about 3 months. They were completely inconsequential, but the feeling was not good. the other day i had a dream, a good dream :winky: i really hope that it comes true :winky:
  11. but the sensation was deja-vu... i promise, it wasnt a feeling of memory. The thing with me, and probably others is, we yearn for answers. When i got this sensation of deja-vu it was too easy to just dismiss, which is when i started tracking back through my memory. I had completely forgotten about the ice cream 3 weeks back, until i thought for a little while. An example of memory, would be waking up early, and stepping out the house, and the morning air to be filled with a "burnt toast" smell. This always reminds me of when i was in Primary school, and the smell through the window as Lunchtime approached. (PS: food in my primary school was crap! so this is not a good memory )
  12. Excellent, this is the type of thing i was hoping to hear. Well how about this...: The human body is capable of producing heat. Heat is a form of energy. So could it therefore along the same reasoning, be conceivable for a human to emit other forms of energy, which was put very well as "aura"? My example of deja-vu was Saturday night. After dinner with a few friends we went to Baskins & Robins for dessert. Here i had a mint choc chip scoop with hot fudge. After taking my first bite, i had the feeling of it already happened. I thought back, and remembered it wasn't deja-vu i was experiencing but a memory i was recalling, from 3 weeks previous. I'm not a dessert person and had forgotten that 3 weeks ago, i had some Toffee & Nut ice cream at home one evening. So what i had was a definitive explanation to this sensation of deja-vu. Hope i didn't go TOO off subject. (I'm very hungry for dessert all of a sudden )
  13. yeh i heard about this, i believe in the science side of it, so i'm not going to argue on that. BUT i'd like to play devils advocate for just a moment, and let you know, that when i get this feeling of de ja voux, i can specifically recall and REMEMBER when i saw it the first time, previous to it happening just then. Normal deja voux is just confusion...
  14. Yes well £40 for a suit, can't go wrong... must admit, i've been wanting to shop their for a while. Saw a nice "looking" suit in their catalogue... Is it shameful to buy a suit from Matalan??? I think not!!! :D
  15. :o videohosting? have the got webcasting servers? I'd like to run a few feeds off that if possible. (shhhhh, dont tell anybody) LOL
  16. Someone clarify this for me... The human body emits radiation of sorts? Waves and energy emission individual and unique that can be measured with the correct tools (eg Neuroscans) How is it that we take for granted the fact that we can receive audio through a radio travelling across the air, is it not possible for the same way a human to be a transmitter of data, and another human to be a receiver, hence completing the vital requirements for telepathy? curiosity is killing the cat....
  17. I just find it impressive that they can offer THAT amount of space, for free. Whether we use it or not, that is up to us. As for the ladder, i wouldn't BUY a 1000ft ladder, but if given free, i would cut up into 20, 50ft ladders and give them to 19 friends! Difference between FREE and at A PRICE, are what i find impressive.
  18. I use PlusNET, been a long time member, since 2003. Although it is only the 512Kb line, on a 160Mbps Pipeline with 50:1 contention. Loving the service. It's 21.99 a month. CGI and FTP storage space up to 250Mb. Unlimited email addresses. It used to be uncapped but now there is a limit although unreachable for the average user. My monthly usage is around 8Gb, but you can have 30Gb at peak time on the "Fair Usage Policy" and up to an extra 200Gb off-peak (on a 2mb line). Check it out see what you think. :D http://portal.plus.net/features/usage_guide.shtml
  19. I just popped over to www.gmail.com to find that they are no longer offering 1Gb worth of email space :( instead they are offering over 2Gb (2108M currently) of storage space, which if you watch the site is INCREASING every second.... :o How why? When did this change take place, and OMG, impressive or what? Check it out, and watch your storage space increase by the second. :D
  20. i have always taken a scientific approach to things. but isn't "coincidence" the around about way of saying "we dont know"? Interpretation is a good explanation though. Do we have any psychologist who could give an example of how ESP is perceived to work in the mind, and in which cases we are vulnerable to these instances?
  21. I thought this might be an interesting subject to hear peoples views on this. Do you believe in telepathy? (When thoughts are transmitted or received without verbal of physical communication) Ever had that feeling of, remembering an old friend, and then the phone rings... low and behold, it's the old friend you were thinking of... freaky? Do you believe that your dreams tell you something about your future? Maybe they tell you something about what you wanted from your past? Maybe they tell you nothing at all? I've had dreams, where i've got the distinct feeling that something has happened. Then later that day, week or month, i get the feeling of De Ja Voux, only to luckily remember it was in the dream that i first had those feelings, and now they have become true... maybe its just me? I dont know. I really want to discuss this with people who are on a similar wavelength, as i think this can make for good conversation. There are plenty of other unexplained things i'd like to talk about, so hopefully someone will get the ball rolling. Look forward to hearing your thoughts... :)
  22. I must admit I do like the quality of Versace, especially in their blazers. Although i've only "tried" them on. My suits are Pierre Cardin which for my physique are the most comfortable i've ever worn, and perfect for work and social events. I would recommend going for the Versace suit (although pricey) or have one "Made-To-Fit". Have you decided on the material / colours, that you are planning to wear?
  23. ignore this post... The Wayback Machine currently hosts 1 Petabyte of data and growing by 20Terabytes each month :o :o :o
