  1. gotta say "WELL DONE"... i'm not shouting, i'm just happy :D damn you guys have really nice cars! that red one (Chris's?) has gleeming paintwork! I wish i had some pics that size for my desktop. (desktop resolution 1680x1050) :winky: *hint hint* refer here for me please
  2. WOW, cool :D i didn't even know that part of the site existed. I must explore more. Sorry
  3. The TSW Pace is very similar to those T12's. I like! :D I'm more of a chariot man myself, i've got a set of TSW Edge on my Civic. Had them for almost 3 years now, and only around 4 scratches in all :) I think for the lexus i'll be choosing something very similar to the TTE 9spoke. MY DREAM >>>
  4. Hey dude... i'm green with envy! You've got the EXACT same Lexus i have my heart set on Welcome to LOC. PS: i your car!
  5. I've always used a damp cloth of white spirit or brake cleaner, and a sharp blade. Make sure you dont get any on the upholstery or you'll truely be :tsktsk: .
  6. Hi again all, I have another question for all you people wanting to share your valuable knowledge with me :D Does the IS200 come with more than one different engine? I only assume the Engine in an Auto-box is different from the Manual-box. I've also read the code 1G-FE written alot over the place, so just wondering if there are any other codes? Secondly, do i find the engine code on the chassis number? (for example my civic has the EJ9 engine clearly readable from the 8th digit onwards chassis plate) Third and finally, what are the OEM specs of these engines? (bhp, torque, top-speed, 0-60, redline, etc....) hope you guys can come up with the goods :D
  7. Yeh i've tried. To be honest with you, i've been searching for this font for over 8 months! It's just not available to download. You can obviously purchase the TTF file for around £30, but it's only worth the £30 if you are a trader and planning to earn a living from it. I'm not one of those traders :( unfortunately
  8. I know this is probably a long shot, but i'm looking for the TTF character set called "Charles Wright". It is the legal font set used by registered UK plate makers. I would like the ttf for my own personal use. I have no intention of reselling it or making money from it. I just want to experiment on Photoshop with a few styles and ideas. I wonder if anyone would be so kind as to guide me where i can find what i'm looking for, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, (even if nobody can help me) :)
  9. haha, for second then, i thought Michael was being very naughty. On the main page this topic read "Do you have a name for your...." by "MichaelRX300" please excuse my childish behaviour btw: to answer your question... i dont have a Sat Nav :( but i really want one! :D
  10. from the choices, it has to be the T12. But i especially like that 9spoke on the Red IS. Very clean and smart!
  11. P45 & P60 (no offence intended)
  12. absolutely! but - which would your dad find easier to use? a hardware router, or zonealarm? ← fair comment, sometimes i forget how complicated these things are for others
  13. hardware based firewall is protection only from incoming traffic. you can become infected with something nasty, and a hardware firewall will not prevent outgoing traffic, such as keylogging data etc. A decent software based firewall will protect you from this, as it will warn you that a new application is attempting to use your internet connection. This will allow you to block the traffic - and alert you that something is not right. ← A tightly ruled firewall has the options for allowing specific ports to be opened or closed outbound or inbound. Plus it gives that extra barrier against nasty stuff flying out there on the net.
  14. I tend to steer clear of Software based firewalls, as it allows access to the operating system before the firewall figures out what to do with the connection. By then valuable resources (such as CPU and Bandwidth) have been utilised by these processes. Invest in a small modem with a built-in firewall (£30 tops). That's my recommendation for the day...
  15. Both as important as each other, but with a lexus you're guaranteed to have a good amount of both to start with!
  16. Nothing odd about that film, except it was rubbish. The thing you might've noticed was at the end it says "Take a look from the driving seat". YET, the video appears to have been filmed directly from the centre of the vehicle. Distance to the left of the bonnet and to the right of the bonnet is the same. At least they chose the nice Plat Ice colour to make the movie in, :D
  17. Very white :D I bought some for my civic a very very long time ago. They were SO white, that to the human eye they appeared blue.
  18. omg, freaky! I was on this site earlier today, looking for the damn opticians link. Couldn't find it, for the life of me!?! Tesco's do have opticians right?! :duh:
  19. it probably has a banned word in the link address :(
  20. It's good to have a couple of the AntiSpyware products running in combination with others. However, it can seem extremely unsettling when one product finds something that the other product missed. It makes you wonder who is telling the truth, and who is actually better? I currently use AdAware SE and the Beta M$ AntiSpyware. I've found them to work very well together, and has been keeping the system free of nasties. I'm also implementing deployment of the BETA software on my system network. I'd give it 3½ out of 5.
  21. :o MERCEDES!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!! My dad has a dream of owning a Merc. But i told him, i'd disown him if he ever bought anything that wasn't Japanese. He's now looking at the IS250 :D hehehe.
  22. who's GUS? Sounds like one of the bigboys... so i'll pass on my regards. Happy Birthday
