  1. i've got one more story to tell, but cannot say anything, until the court case is over. the case will be heard by judge and jury tomorrow.
  2. you're totally right, but when you've just paid for something you worked pretty hard to get, and then its stolen from you, the adrenaline just starts pumping, and you forget about what the insurance certificate is for :( and start taking things into your own hands. i forgot to mention, while i was at the hospital, the police took a statement from me, and when we had finished with the statement, the police lady goes to me that if i tried to sort them out, then i'd be the first suspect on their hit list if anything were to happen to them... i obey the law, but that just peeves me right off!!!!
  3. but i've seen the NEWEST 05 Toyota Landcruisers, and they are foookin massiv! Does that car need a Class VII MOT certficate? lol.
  4. if you are talking about the history of your address bar it will be in > Tools > Internet Options > Clear History... if you are talking about the autocompleted list inside text boxes on the page you will find the clear button in Tools > Internet Options > Content Tab > "Auto Complete..." button > Clear Forms button... hope that helps?
  5. yup, that very same one, in that exact matching paint. all it needs is a british registered plate, and it would feel like "de ja vous" aside from the snow covered mountain in the background
  6. Sorry for not turning up to the last meet, but i will make 8th of May, my first one! Hopefully
  7. He means ride quality ie. comfort ← isn't "comfort" a matter of opinion? by the way, the first and second cars both look as though they may be from the same group of owners, as the wording and fonts is practically the same :duh: *confused*
  8. Tell me about it! It's like there are no other cars on the road EXCEPT for the Lovely IS200. I swear the world has been dominated by this car.
  9. 1st Car: not bad... i thought R-Tec , St Albans, had dominated ownership of all the R11P** plates. I noticed something in the ad "HAS BEEN LOWERED BUT THIS HAS NOT AFFECTED THE RIDE OF THE CAR". I'm no genius, but can someone please explain why you would lower it, if it wasn't going to affect the ride of the car? I thought it would've increased handling and maybe a bit of performance to the car. I was considering doing this to my Lexus when i get one, but if it "does not affect the ride of the car" then i wont bother wasting my money. 2nd Car: Did not like the alloys one bit... but loved the quad style exhausts.
  10. it looked exactly like the LX450 on the American site, so it was definately a Lexus. At least now we know that there is one around, we can all keep our eyes open for another, or the same... if you're just too lazy to find your own ones... LOL :P
  11. Interesting, it was R plate registered. Must be an Import then :D
  12. Okay, i dont know a huge amount about the Lexus range, but yesterday while i was down my local fish n chip shop. I saw a huge monster drive past. When i looked at the badge it was that lovely circledL we all know and love. Yes it was a Lexus. I looked at the rear to catch the model, and on the boot door handle it said LX450. First time i've seen one of them. It was HUUUUGE. Probably not as big as the latest Toyota Landcruisers, but for definate it had a bit of Lexus style to it. It was two japanese men, wearing suits looking a little lost in my area. Anyway, just thought i'd mention it, and see what you people know about this UCO (unidentified cruising object).
  13. love the center caps with the Lexus logo :D
  14. This will probably seem a little to start with... but please bare with me. April 26th 2003. Me and dad were sitting down to watch a film on dvd. Around 8:30 i get a knock at the door. Two girls around 13 and 14, asked "is that your green car on the road?". I looked over and replied "yeh, thats mine, why whats up?" One of the girls goes "i just saw 2 boys doing stuff to your car, i think they stole someting" I swiftly made a dash to the car, had a look around, and found that the: center pins, centre holding nuts (the huge 120mm ones), centre wheel caps, and stainless steel air caps had been five finger discounted off my car. I was well annoyed, as you can imagine, i was only a student at the time, and the whole set i had bought only a week previous for £50. (For those who don't know, £50 is alot of money for a student) Some of you may argue that I shouldn't have wasted my money on such meaningless items, but for me, they made me smile. Anwyay, i jumped in my car, raced down to the park, opened my boot, removed the fat end of a snooker cue that i have in there, and made large with it on the little :tsktsk: who stole the stuff. (I didn't hurt him, i just threatened him) So 15 minutes later, i'm back at my house, telling the kind man across the road about what had happened, and that i had been down the park to try and retrieve my belongings. As i'm still talking, a gang of lads came down the road, only 15/16 years old. One was yealding a mobile phone in his glove covered fist, another had a metal bar, and another had a cricket ball inside a sock. None of which were clearly visible at the time. They decided to take there hidden weapons and make friends with my skull and ribs. Needless to say, i was hospitalised, with 2 fractured ribs, and a cracked skull. The police were unable to catch the :tsktsk:'s, and nothing has been done about it since. The moral of this story, the good guys never win. We work hard for what we earn, so that we can spend it on nice things that make us happy. Only for them to be stolen by kids who have nothing more interesting in there lives to do, other than make misery for happy folk like us. They steal from us and then complain that they're the ones that have it hard. I DONT THINK SO!!! I bet if i had let loose with my snooker cue on the first kids head, i'd be the one in jail, yet they roam the streets free to do this to other cars, and to men and women who work hard every day of their lives. Shame on humanity for giving people the emotion of jealousy! :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
  15. Now i feel as though I have contributed to the better cause of LOC :zee: i will be able to sleep far easier at night :)
  16. then again, some people do prefer the "barryboy" wrinkled crisp packet effect tint jobs... LOL. but guys... please... not on a lex! get a professional!
  17. i got a quote for tints from 30/70 at the windscreen to dark smoke at the rear screen from http://www.mrtinter.co.uk/ was about £240 don't know what hes like but he comes to you and does it if you are interested ← wouldn't you rather the guy did the tints indoors at a workshop, to avoid, dust and other contaminants getting between the window and tint? rather than on your driveway in the pouring rain and windy weather?
  18. Happy Birthday dude! Have a pint on me, and ooooh oooh, i dont have a lexus, so can i be designated driver in your car please :D
  19. http://newsbox.msn.co.uk/article.aspx?as=a...ae=windows-1252 RIP
  20. ← mat's in germany, all those autobahns! ← slight problem with the monster being in the UK though ← i own a civic at the moment. no engine mods, so its pretty slow, which is why i dont race... i've spent more of my time learning the art of cruising. it's more fun to pretend to race and not really bother because you save a lot more petrol and make far more miles to the gallon.... although... is it likely i will change my ways when i own a lex? i mean, my dad has some pretty fast cars, and i love the speed when i'm driving those, but only because they dont look good, and i dont want people to see me driving them, LOL.
  21. that IS300 is now producing 719hp to the rear wheels at the last dyno run if i recall correctly. but dont the americans measure horsepower differently to how we measure our bhp? here's the site http://www.visionboy.com
  22. if that's your car in the sig, i just want to say, its VERY VERY nice... Well done :) i'm sure you love it :D
  23. Cheers dude's. I've started creating my own dedicated Lexus gallery on my site here but i am looking through these galleries too, and totally loving all the mods. I know that i'm going to have to work hard through this next year to earn any money to fund my IS ownership and modding project. Alajota : It is the galant range that has been disappointedly discontinued. My dad and uncle are mitsubishi specialists, and my other uncle works for mitsubishi directly. You'll see in the image that i've actually integrated the Lex and Galant quite neatly in my drawing. Nice eh? B)
  24. fear this is going to get complicated ← i'm not sure if what i'm saying is correct though, so dont be too disheartened by your quick sale attempts...
