  1. having gone through a similar situation... > here i totally know how :tsktsk: off you are! my advice would not be superglue, although i have learnt that a bit of wax polish, before you place the caps and valves back, makes it just that little bit more difficult for the :tsktsk: thieves to get at... YOU can obviously get them back off because if needed you will be willing to spend the time, whereas a lil rascal thieving sods will give up after a couple of minutes.
  2. i would more than believe this all to be correct, as my boss' girlfriend bought a Roxanne leather handbag from ebay, which was then found to be fake. My boss obviously furious that he had spent £400 on the bag (on ebay) called the Roxanne bag manufacturers, who immediately hired a PI (ex cop), and did a trace on the originator of the bag. Needless to say, the seller is now in deep XXXX. So eBay are probably taking more stringent actions towards the products auctioned through their site. * I edited out the swear word as you dodged the filter - Zee.
  3. is it not fixable with a good polish and tonnes of elbow grease! i can normally get any dull looking car back to a decent gloss shine, with a bit of time and effort...
  4. bloody good intro :D welcome to "The LOC"
  5. Blimey, they don't even wield them anymore! :D What's the world coming to?, gangsters yielding gun like objects in 206's. B) ← please people, my inglish is of not gud standard yaar. i am for forgiveness asking please.
  6. Why did the bloke in the white van stop? I thought he'd overtaken. Mind you being a white van driver he probably didn't have any peripheral vision or sense, maybe he thought he was bulletproof like his white van brethren. A 206 is a proper gangstarr's car though eh? :D :D :D :D ← That's just it, gun yielding thugs dont have to drive huge Lincolns or Maserati Mafia cars. They can easily just drive 206's. Anyway, the van driver stopped because there was a queue on the motorway as he was exiting his junction.
  7. man! thats the HARD way. I just used an image > ascii convertor ;) ← Hahahahah oooops! yeh yeh :P i meant image > ascii... :D
  8. My cousin is currently eyeing up the very 320i SE you have listed here. I'm not going to tell him about any bad points, because if i told him about the lexus, he'll more than definately get one... so once i get one, i'll be the only one in my family to own a Lexus.... (dont call me stingy) i like to think of it as being unique. hahahaha
  9. ...now add 5 to your number. lol
  10. hehe, i was only joking... there are ASCII > Image convertors out there on the net, free to download and try. I gave one a go just now... Magic ASCII Studio... but the files are too big. Very good mind you. But not NET worthy. :D
  11. on the keyboard, but you have to type REALLY FAST! :D
  12. You're prolly right mate, and it's not the sort of thing I normally do - but my kids go to the school and I just saw red. ← fair play, especially when your kids could've been walking across that road at that very moment. i'm pretty hot tempered myself, and i've been known to chase cars down just cos they didn't indicate at the previous junction. But overtime, i've learnt that it's not always the best thing to do. was on the motorway around 4 years ago, and 2 guys/kids where in a grey 206. They were driving slower than the traffic flow was making, and this white van decided to overtake (correctly from what i saw). The cars (while still on the motorway came to a standstill, and the 2 guys from the 206 leaped out the cars with both doors flung open, ran over to the white van, and from what i could tell threatened him with "gun" looking objects. the van driver needless to say, shat himself, got onto the hard shoulder, and made the fastest driveaway i've ever seen. sorry i know i'm but i always enjoy telling my stories. btw: i also shat myself, and pretended to be oblivious to the entire situation. (shame on me) :( but i just didn't want to get involved, i value my life too much.
  13. damn that's cool! :D and yet again, i'm beaten to the finish line :(
  14. frikkin nutters! Was it a wise thing for you to "chase" after them?? You just dont know what these lil vandals are up to nowadays.
  15. Hit me in the face with a hammer, but i quite like the Kia range... especially the Sportage 4x4. My dad used to have a Kia Pride van, as a courtesy car to loan to our customers. They were all very impressed.
  16. :o holy moly! is it wrong to envy the guys who made that? or would that be just TOO geeky!? i think i've just found a new challenge... to recreate a lexus in ASCII... B)
  17. have you got it? i haven't seen it ?!
  18. hahaha, i just got it a couple days ago, and they said the internet was meant to be fast... pah! lol :D
  19. i find this fascinating :D
