  1. My local Timpson's cut a key for the Tezza no problem.
  2. do they make LHD tezza's Don't believe they did as the Tezza was JDM only. One possible problem that I can see is a clash between the steering and exhaust being LHD. not much room down there really.
  3. Hi and welcome to LOC :D As Parthiban said Lexus are reliable, that's why they rate high in the customer satisfaction polls.
  4. Thats worrying tbh i have a oil pressure gauge sitting on the dash thats telling me the pressure usually 2 or 3 pa when idleing and the one in the revcounter is usally on the L so its saying ive no pressure ?????? The one on the dash i think is accurate it goes up when i drive and stays at a constant level when driving yet the other one reads its empty or low If you got one on the dash the one on the cluster is probably not connected so wouldn't worry about it reading L! Are you sure that the guage on the dash is reading pascals, 3 pa would be mega low ther must be some multiplication factor in there!
  5. If you have a rev counter as the big dial in the middle you have that TRD instrument cluster, the top one is oil pressure, the middle one is volts and the bottom one is temp. In the standard cluster the oil pressure and temp are reversed. Mine is N/A with the standard cluster and the oil pressure usually sits a couple of marks above the middle when driving and a couple of marks below the middle when idling. Not sure where the TRD one should normally be, hopefully someone will come by that knows. Have you tried posting on tezzaworld? p.s welcome to LOC :D
  6. Try THESE for front brakes, a lot of members use them and are happy including me. Bearing is separate and can be replaced.
  7. AFAIK the traction control uses the ABS sensors on the rears to detect "wheel spin". The flashing TRC light indicates the TRC has activated, all it does is cut the ignition reducing power. A faulty sensor or wiring MAY stop the car starting. Have you had any work done at the rear of the car around the wheels or brakes recently? Have a good look around. Also I don't thing the ECU will have a any fault codes stored if the CEL is not lit.
  8. OK give us the whole story, any other lights on, did the car just die when the TRC flashed etc.
  9. Make up your mind, has it "lost all power" or won't it start as in the title
  10. Welcome to LOC :D Sounds like a faulty rear ABS sensor.
  11. They won't buy mine it's not even listed, trades descriptions maybe?
  12. Fairly common on the IS200, just fill up and drive around for a while and the gauge will sort it's self out! If you are really worried zero the trip when you put fuel in and work off about 25 miles to the gallon (4.5 litres) and you will be OK :D
  13. I have had a lot of work done by Abery Motors in Arlesey (near Hitchin) over the years. 100% reliable and trustworthy, not next door to you but not too far away either.
  14. Hi All Had Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s for ages on the Tezza and liked them, after recommendations on here switched to the Nexen N3000s, same tread pattern etc as the F1s etc and got on well with them. Now the N3000s are no longer available and I don't really want to lash out on premium tyres. I can get a great deal on the N6000 and wondered if anyone has them fitted and what they think of them. Need to get 2 tyres, rears as usual, and wanted to book in for Saturday so any opinions would be much appreciated. TIA Neil
  15. It does it even when I'm not breaking, but Inwill defo be taking it back to the garage tonight or tmrw mornin depending on what time they close. What I ment was that if it was the pads rattling it would not happen when you are braking, also the pads should not rattle anyway if they are correctly fitted and all the bits put back on. It is NOT loose pads in carrier/yoke if it is, they have fitted wrong pads, IT is something not correctly installed by mechanic at garage. What I said!

  17. I agree with Phil it sounds very odd and not like pads at all. I would assume that you are braking as you go over the lines on the road, if so the pads should be "clamped" to the disk. Check as Phil and get it back to the garage ASAP.
  18. I have read somewhere in the past how to reset. Try using the switch to close the window and hold the switch up after the window has closed for a few seconds. Think that was what the procedure was.
  19. You two can go out to play together
  20. TBH mate your last thread was trying to sell so this one will go the same way as the last one. It's worth what someone will pay for it, as said before look on Parkers and check Autotrader as a guide.
  21. Have you tried the pedal with the ignition on or the engine running?
