I watched it in sky+ to skip the adverts, there was only like 30 seconds on the xbox. How lame. Still the console looks good. Dont have to build my ninja media center pc anymore. ← Just downloaded a torrent of it. The US program had much more in it. The uk version wsa a waste of time . Still looks good (downloaded a ps3 game demo as well).

Only a 50" plasma ? :D - I'll be getting the Xbox 360 ... and playing them on my 2.5 METRE wide DLP projector .................... :P ← Nice screen, do you have a proper projector screen, it makes a big differance to image quality. I considered going the projection route but like the convience of an always available picture. Sky is going to start broadcasting Hidef in 2006 for some programs. I might not even buy another games pc the new consoles are so powerful. The PS3 cell has 10 cores!

Drank the old wife beater (as it's called) for about 10 years. Now I can't stand it. It's too chemical tasting. Carlsberg Export is my current poison (my best freinds dad was chief brewer for Calrsberg in the UK and re-forumluated it to beat Stella, by mixing Special Brew with normal Carlsberg halfway through the fermentation process, how cool is that).. Other than the export I like Reblleion Ale , Champagne and a Good red wine. Drinking beer , and watching the contedner at the moment, and playing KOTOR2. J J

Xbox 360 looked good, although MTV trailer was lame I agree. Still I am going to buy that and the PS3 and then a 50 inch plasma to play those games in HIDEF!! Bring it on. During the "lift off" in the space shuttle, did you use your left or right foot on the throttle :D ← I learned to use right handed scissors although it was a weaker hand when I was younger. 10 years of bench pressing sorted that out! I can play a lot of sports right and left. but can only write left handed. That's the only way to be amdidextrous. If you can write with both hands. I find it hard brushing my teeth with the other hand. I think you have to learn a right hand as everything is set up that way. I knew someone who grew up in Francos Spain and they forced all left handers to write right handed! The :tsktsk: Left handers are the opressed minority! Stand up and be counted. Although judging by this forum more Lexus owners are left handers. Which shows how discerning we are. J

Thanks mate. I KNOW the Ram is too much - but can you ever really have too much ram? It only cost my £26 + Vat ( Trade account ;) ) for the Ram so I thought I may as well get the full gig. The extra ram module (according to a power calculator) only adds an extra 3 - 4watts to the power needs so I thought I may as well. I use a pretty old PDC server at work and that only has 256Mb Ram!! The Nforce2 Chipset on the Shuttle is also optimised for Dual memory setups and the onboard Nvidia is again going to benefit by having 128Mb allocated to it. Also I thought that since I have the ram I could actually play a few oldish (Unreal Tournament 2003 etc) games too - I have the power! :D ← 1 GB of ram is standard nowadays, both my home (admittadley top spec) and work laptops have 1GB of RAM/. My next HTPC project (due october) will have 2GB of RAM!!

Leftys stand at around 10% of the population and this has been a stable figure. It's an advantage if it's a minority, due to the fact that most people expect you to grab/punch/hold with the right. Left handers are more creative and intelligent. It's also a co-incidence that I too am left handed. :winky: In fact 5/6's of my family are which is actually very rare. Make sure you get a real copy, check the code on the microsoft piracy website to check it's genuine. http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/ww/default.mspx With XP you need all the security updates and driver updates if you don't you could end up in a world of pain, the hacked versions just aren't worth the hassle. You definatley need to run Hijack this. You might have some dodgy registry settings. Also be aware that when your typing in your passwords it's a genuine site...

I've got a free perpetual enterprise download for Mcafee as I know someone who worked there. :D So guess which one I use :winky:

Mcafee and Norton are both very good. Sophos and Pandasoft are also good. Pays your money takes your choice. I have Mcafee at the moment , but have used Norton before. Either way it pays to get the updates. In conjunction with anti-spyware and zonealarm firewall. J

I reckon with the right air filter and engine remap you could gain another 0.1 x 106 N-m of peak torque. Now that's a bad boy.
