    I've got the same noise on mine, especially when going over speed ramps or another bumps in the road. It seems to disappear when the car warms up so I drive more slowly over speeds ramp untill the car warms up and the noise is gone. I put it down to the anti-roll bar being a little dry from grease. (I hope) but mind you, the car is 12 years old now so I'can't expect the car to be silent all the time.

    As far as mounting, I've not done yet but have purchased the same as you have, was advised to very lighty spray the lens of the detecters but give it 3 light coats, just enough to blend into the colour you wish.

    On mine, if I goto reverse, I also get the bleeping noise but also the indicator on the dash also flashes amber to mach sure if I don't here the bleeping noise, sometimes I don't due to LOUD music within the car

    I was some-what hoping that the waterpump hadn't gone, anyway top it up and spent about 2 hours topping up and bleeding the system, so far everything has gone OK but will not know untill tomorrow, if the pump has gone, that would explain way there has been presure build up causing the steam, the water has been super heated and escaped as steam. Will see tomorrow if the rad and tank is empty. If so, exspensive :flaming: :flaming: :flaming:

    When I shift from P to R or D, I get that jerk, if I just release the brake as I'm changing, then the jerk feeeling isn't as bad. It could just the power of the engine kicking into gear. I've already taken mine to Lexus and they said that it was nothing to worry about. I notice it more when going into R than D, lower gear ratio. My tick over is just over the 600rpm mark, 750 rpm

    I'm thinking the same thing, it only started a few weeks agobut has been getting worse. I've only been putting water in untill I can sort out the problem, this morning I put anti-freeze in aswell and will be trying to bleed the system later, hopefully this will cure the problem.

    Does anyone know if the pipe leaving the exspanion bottle is meant to go anywhere apart from just hanging within the engine bay. I've noticed recently that there is steam coming out from theis pipe when the engine gets hot, also noticed that the bottle is now starting to run dry along with the rad meaning thje engine starts to cook itself. The pipe did hang from just under the drivers side wing. Three are 4 rads in the car and was wondering if one of these connected to the pipe. Any ideas ppls

    I find the same with mine, all I do is just take the foot of the brake a little bit when shifting from P to D or R. Works all the time. I only need to do it first thing in the morning through, not so bad when the car is warm.

    Rodders, Get this!!!!!!!! I got a quote from Tescos for £1400 just for me but if I insured my wife ( who is epaletic ) with myself, only £940 :?::?: get the logic in that, Seeing as how that was my cheapest quote, I went with them but will looking else where when it's due.

    You could always try and use a stanley blade, just make that your fingers are not in the way if you slip. Otherwise it will not be your paint your're worried about but the lack of fingers on your hand:lol:
