The back was easy to fit, a bit concerned about having to drill a 2mm hole for the wiring, the front was a bit more of a challange, had to find a way of securing the badge without damaging the grill. First the rear then the front
I temperaraly wiried the bagdes up using a 12V PSU and they look great:cool:
A warm glowing blue glows from the entre badge, and they are quite bright too. I'm going to wire up on the aux lighting circuit. So when the lights are put on auto, the badges light up aswell as the lights when the light sensor is triggered.
It arrived this morning, aset of glowing emblems for the front and the rear.
Can't wait till this afternoon to wiring up and see what they look like............should mental at night:D:D:D
I'll take some pics of anyone is interested and post them tonight.
After the meet at Jordrell Bank, does anyone fancy a convoy across to Harrogate to the Yorkshire Showground. I'll done a quick cal for distance and time, should take approx 2 Hrs to get there and is just over a 100 miles. It should be a good day if anyones interested. I'm thinking of going down there.
If your braking system is anything like my Aristo, it sounds like the caliper may be working its way lose. There are two 14 mm bolts just behind the disc, jack the car till wheel is off deck and tighten bolts. This way all pressure is released from calipers.
Hope this helps
when I got the car, it had just been MOTed but I just read the regs for vehicle lighting so I may just stick some lights on and then remove after the MOT. May work - may not. Don't lose anything untill you try.
The good thing on mine is that the fogs are the brake lights:lol: BUT I don't have any fogs wired into the car. I'm not sure if this a MOT failure or not.
I'll be coming down on Friday to help out from 17.30 onwards and will be stay untill the end on Sunday. I'll bring the beer if needed and can chip in for the tent.
