The Black is a new shade apparently - called Graphite Black. Other new colours are the Atomic Silver (Sonic Titanium), sonic silver and the Red pictured above (unsure whether this is Matador/Mesa red or Infrared/Sonic red)

Interior colours are Black, Brown, Beige and a very light shade of Grey called Moonstone. F-Sport gets Black, Red and possibly Grey depending on market.

The Silver 450h is a Premier model. In the second picture you can see another Silver RX with different wheels. These will be on the Luxury models.

These were taken in Austria at a Lexus training event with 20 ex-racing drivers. The RX was tested against the new XC90, BMW X5, RR Sport and the Mercedes ML (or whatever they've changed its name to). It handles much better than before, has become even more refined and quieter and the transmission on the 450h has been changed.

It is only slightly slower on the slalom compared to an X5 but leaves the XC90 and RR Sport for dead. Worth looking out for!

I really like the looks of the car. Also like the wood/leather steering wheel. I hope it will be real wood, rather than the tacky plastic imitation.

Incidentally, I saw a new XC90 "in the flesh" last night. Looks good. Big. Loads of road presence seen from the front coming towards you. The headlight/turn signal combination are particularly striking.

All real wood mate. The interior pictured is the 450h Premier with matt finish Bamboo wood, very nice looking.

Still havent seen one on the road but saw one in the showroom, personally thought it looked a bit old school.

Id say top trumps should go to the RX for outright presence. The grill itself is pretty intimidating and of course the triple LED headlights with the LED DRL's should be good.

Looks great. I'm actually considering an RX450h for my next car, but will probably be the old (current) model.

If you're looking for an F-Sport in Arctic Pearl, I may be able to hook you up when I buy the new one around November time next year :P

That model will definitely be on my short list for my next car, depends on mileage/condition/price etc., but happy to get a shout when you are nearer to changing yours.

Well, mileage will probably be under 40k as itll be 4 years old. Condition right now is great, as new but have like 5 stone chips on the front and 1 kerbed wheel. Tyres should have about 5mm tread left front and back as I only changed them this year. Id expect price to be around £24-27k as mine has the Mark Levinson too :D

Love the shape and especially like the new alloys. Not sure about the bamboo steering wheel and centre console. Makes it look a bit Ikea.

Bamboo steering wheel is only on the Premier and Im sure there are other wood finishes to choose from. If I remember correctly, there is a walnut type finish which suits the black interior more. I personally think bamboo looks amazing in the flesh, it also feels great but its a better fit for the lighter interior than the darker ones
