Hi,

has anyone had any issues with the power boot. Over the last few weeks when i open the tailgate manually it makes a strange noise as if the dampers are blowing or dry.

Also does the arm of the power boot need to be greased ?

I thought lubricating the struts was a no-no, if that's what you mean?

Or is the 'arm' something different?

Nah its fine. I used to grease them and they had no issues in 8 years of ownership
