Strange noise

I've had a strange noise since I bought my GS450h last year, not major but annoying. It's not loud but it's there all the time when cruising at motorway speeds. I thought it was out of true discs because it that familiar bump, bump, bump sound but there was no change when braking. I recently renewed the discs and pads anyway but there is no difference. It passed the MOT with no problems, so it doesn't look as though anything is likely to fall off.

Any ideas?

Loose external trim catching the wind?

I don't think so, it more rhythmic, sort of like a lump on a tyre but it's not that because the tyres have been replaced.

its not the exhuast heat shield is it my gs300 had similar garage put bigger washers on it to hold tight

It's more of a thump than a rattle.

could it be wheel balancing weights? - if they are stuck on the inside rim they start hitting the caliper outer edge
